    The room is super spacious, comfortable and clean. Not using the higher toilet system but acceptable. Few minutes walk to the green line subway. You are paying for the space, not really much on services if I were to compare with other place I stayed

    Poor sound proofing, we had to put up with sounds from upper floors plus pedestrians walking outside the hotel as we were allocated to a room on the first floor.

    For the value of the room, it wasn’t 100% worth it because of lack of amenities. They did not have any bath towels, cotton buds, etc available. They were also not able to provide an extra pillow which I needed for pregnancy. We also couldnt keep our bags before or after check-in there. It’s a struggle to find coin lockers at Kyoto due to high volume of tourists. But don’t get me wrong, the room was one of the best and most aesthetically pleasing rooms I’ve stayed at, but i wouldn’t pay for the same price next time.
