A relaxing home atmosphere in a top location!

It was perfect really, we loved Goes and the friendliness and kindness of its people, which reflected was also reflected in the willingness to help us out on everything we needed.

Just a small advice, since we had a fantastic bath tub in the room, it would be nice to provide some bath salt :-) but just to add to the already superb experience!

Very nice, but the breakfast...

Great Location! Very tasteful furnishings great ambience. The attached restautant is great, the food is delicious. The in-house brewed beer is a special expirience. The room /suite is huge an very nice. Nice and friendly people!

Just some little things. There could have been a bottle of water in the room. The door of the shower doen´t close so the water did run out in the bath room. The breakfast did not fulfil out expectations and did not fit the other standards of the hotel at all! That was something prepared by a "catering service" like a fix packed box of something ...No cereals, plastic packed ham, plastic packed cheese, one piece of bread, No friuts, No greens, ... very diappointing for us especially since there is a full kitchen existing.

Our apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we wanted. The location was great - just a short walk from the car park. Breakfast was excellent.

Nice place to stay.

Thet atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. Also the food and the beer is very nice, served by friendly personnel. The location in the centre of Goes is very nice. The bathroom has been modernized recently and is up to standards.

The room in the Herberg is a bit dated, but good enough for the price.

Beautifully furnished room, super quiet even if the noisy fair was right in front of the hotel, very big room and bathroom, lots of restaurants

The breakfast could have been better and the check-in could have been smoother because Sundays there is no one at the reception (but we didn't have to wait for long). There is no elevator.

A great stay, highly recommendable!

We love this place! We stayed for the second time and it was even better than the first time. Slot Oostende has a great atmosphere and really caring and superfriendly staff! The location is great despite the two belfries of the two churches nearby. They managed to convince one of the churches to not sound their bells during nighttime, which is a huge improvement (still they provide earplugs just in case :-)) Our room (Nr. 27) was large and really charming, yet modern. We also highly recommend their restaurant. Greetings to Marvin! Keep up the good work!!

Breakfast is great but comes with a little minus: Since there is not enough space for a buffet, a lot is packaged in plastic (which is not okay in 2023). We would also appreciate organic eggs. Otherwise thumbs up!

The penthouse room, the decoration , the nice and confortable beds, the delicious and wide variety products breakfast, as well as tv emplacement in front of beds.

A pity not to have the chance to eat at the Slot restaurant, but it was a sunday and absolutely not the fault of Slot team...however we had nice reccomendations to grab some dinner.

It was satisfactory but expected more for that price range.

Location is good.

Breakfast was ok but I expected more than a crate with food. The room we had was a few flights of stairs. No problem as we are young. No help of staff though. Check in was messy too. No dedicated staff for check in so we had to ask bar staff.

wonderful

amazing apartment in the heart of the city. very stylish, clean and comfortable. pity we stayed only 1 night. i can imagine it being perfect for a holiday,staycation, or just a city trip. we would definitely come back

nothing. we were not aware that the night we stay coincided with pink Saturday in Goes. we were a bit surprised by the open air concert happening just under the window, but it was definitely a nice surprise. the management even provided earplugs for the noise :)

Way too expensive for what you get in return, no service, little care for their guests.

Nice location, cool renovated building, food for dinner was okay.

They were hosting a party downstairs. Everything was vibrating in our room, we couldn't sleep until 3am. Someone hit the fire alarm as a joke which also scared us. Breakfast is very lack luster, they just dump a box of food on your table and call it a day. Our room was not in the main part of the hotel but a separate side building, which smelled like old beer because of the party. Would not come back.

We had appartment "het Stadhuijsje": - Living room is located on 2nd floor, stairway is very inconvenient (for older people), we stayed downstairs - Toilet is very small, bedroom is small - No hair dryer - No wardrobe, we'd to hang up our clothes in the shower - Appartment is not located at hotel, you need to walk a couple of streets - Public parking on 10 minutes walking distance - Breakfast is a simple basket with food, not al all what we expected.

A wonderful stay!

Slot Oostende is a wonderful place to be! It lies in the heart of Goes and the building itself breathes history. The interior design is outstanding! The open air part of the restaurant is also very nice. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The hotel is next to two churches, which chime every half hour - which is why we liked the fact that the hotel provided earplugs :-) The food in the restaurant was outstanding and we also enjoyed our breakfast: It was presented in a charming wooden box, which was very Corona-compliant. The room was huge and we had our own electric kettle, mini-fridge and a coffee machine. Parking was easy (though not cheap) in the nearby parking garage. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

It was a pity that the lovely restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday.

Fantastic location for a weekend away

We had a weekend away with 5 friends and we booked two larger rooms at the Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, central and really wonderful. The facilities were fantastic and so were the staff. The breakfast was good and I loved the breakfast boxes. I would recommend this Hotel to stay for a weekend away. Just make sure you have ear plugs, though the Hotel does supply them.

I have no complaints about the Hotel, but the church bells on the weekend were a killer. The Hotel is between two churches and the bells chime every hour (on the hour) and once every half hour. Then there is the 8am chime, that offers just a little bit more.... Sunday of course is even better. My bed was the closest to the church bell tower, so my friends said it was not as bad in other rooms. Its nothing to do with the Hotel, but I would suggest you use the ear plugs provided.
