Amarildo Essence Hotel

I spent 9 wonderful days traveling solo at Amarildo's place in Himarë and couldn't have asked for a better experience. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well looked after throughout my stay. The location is absolute perfection, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Everything completely matched the description on the site—from the layout and rooms to all the amenities and services provided. What made my stay truly special, though, was the warmth of the hosts. Amarildo and his family are incredibly charming, kind, and always helpful. I had an amazing time and highly recommend this place for its great location, pristine cleanliness, accurate description, and outstanding hospitality. I would gladly come back!

Loved the place. It was an amazing getaway in the close center of Himare. The landlord was exceptionally nice and welcoming to the guests and made us feel at home immediately. Very clean place. There was also a coffee/tea station that us coffee lovers adored 😅. Parking was amazing and spacious. The balcony had two openings, one from the living room and one from the bedroom, so it also had a lot of space to sit and rest. The AC was good and it cooled down the room fast. 10/10 stay, would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and quiet place thats also close to the center and main beach in Himare.

Perfect position, owner super nice and kind. Big room with fridge and coffee machine. Nice and big terrace to chill. Very Clean.

The shower didn’t have a protection, so the water was going on the floor, but they provided mop to clean so in the end was fine!

It was not what I expected. The photos in the listing and the title are misleading. You see pictures of an apartment and the title says “hotel,” but in reality, you don’t get the services of either. The bathroom is quite chaotic—be prepared to clean up after every shower, as the whole place gets wet. In the kitchen, there is no stove or microwave, since it’s not actually a hotel as advertised. The access road is also very poor, almost off-road, with many cars blocking the way. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this stay. That said, the host’s kindness and attentiveness were undeniable. Still, for the level of comfort expected during a holiday, the place falls short.
