Chef should check everything before serving to guests

We stayed for 3 nights, 1st day's buffet breakfast was average, though it was better on the remaining 2 days. The room with balcony felt better.

The staff did not even allow to have a look at the room being allocated and insisted us to pre-authorize our credit card payment first. I have not seen such a practice in any other 5 star category hotel. The room initially allocated, felt claustrophobic due to low / dim lights and less of natural lights coming into the room. The toilet seat was not clean and had scratches and the pressure was low. The issue of toliet was rectified as they arranged a plumber but it took almost 30 minutes to fix the issue, that too in our presence in the room which was a let down since we had requested the staff twice on phone calls before our arrival to ensure that everything is clean and working fine. As we wanted to move out due to these experiences, the hotel staff did upgrade and give us another room with a balcony along with a kot, which felt much better.

Everything about Le Merìdien is always exceptional. # the respect with which the staff greets and welcome is very warm # special attention is paid to details # staff turn around time is exceptional and always eager to help # food is always great. Extra efforts are taken to ensure taste is maintained vs quantity. Variety of breakfast is the best i've eaten so far vs other 5 star hotels Special mention and thanks to Yashika and Siddhi from the front office teams who ensured our stay was impeccable and enjoyable! Also the Pool staff and bar tender was very supportive and helpful and took care of my son in my absence. A bunch of good fellas! ✌🏻 This was our 4th time staying here and we wish to return!

Our water suppy in the restroom 5018 was a bit funny. Paused for a few seconds everyday. Kind of weird and we also reported it to the housekeeping service. Also the AC at night suddely got warmer every single day. That could have been better.

The breakfast room is too overcrowded, with waiting times running up to 10- 15 minutes. The property is at full capacity, and the dining room is too small. Even the spread is average, probably its the expectation is too much.
