We were very happy to be there.

Everything we needed for a week near Langsett. Hosts are welcoming and to hand if needed. An easy drive to Holmfirth and to the excellent tram system from Middlewood into Sheffield. Plenty of footpaths for short or longer rambles.

Cosy cute cottage

Location was perfect, cottage was very cosy, lovely hosts, lots of leaflets for things to do in the area

Shower wasn't very powerful but that's me just being super fussy.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Location. Particularly because we had our dog so it was good to be able to have access to open spaces. Bedrooms for all family members. The cakes were lovely - a welcome surprise! Thank you. Enjoyed some of the games in the property.

Bath towels were not big enough to wrap around the body. They were also very hard and scratchy. Would suggest new ones required. Would have been good to have coat hooks on wall, particularly as a walkers area. The bbq in the parking area made it difficult to open car doors when 2 vehicles were parked. To be honest it detracts from the general setting and would certainly not have been used. The main door was difficult to lock and were concerned about breaking handle/key.

Lovely accommodation with nice quiet location and comfy beds.

The living room was upstairs so made the most of the views. The location was quiet. Nice to see animals grazing with their young.

There wasn’t an enclosed garden for me to let my dog out on his own so would have had to have him tethered if we sat outside for food etc also the WiFi went down which upset my grandson

Beautiful stay!

I liked everything about Lazy Daisy's. It was perfect for what we needed. Staff were lovely and even had a delicious cake waiting for us on arrival. Towels were soft, everything was clean, beds were comfortable. It has been one of our favourite UK stays so far and we will definitely be returning. We only stayed for the weekend but wished we had booked longer!

The hosts were very friendly even gave us a lift to a local pub on christmas eve rather than getting a taxi

It was a comfortable place to stay for our trip to Sheffield for our daughter,s graduation.

Nice setting and easy to access Sheffield and Peak District.

It was difficult to find the cottage on arrival, the directions on the farmhouse door were not clear, and there wasn’t anyone to ask. The postcode sent us to a different location initially. It would be helpful for the owners to email guests specific directions.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Location ideal for the peak district. The accommodation is exceptionally clean with a well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended and would visit again.

Beautiful cosy little farm, so cosy, sofa and bed very comfortable, DVD player for nights in. Fantastic beautiful walks in the area not far away. Pub food around the area was lovely as well. At the farm there are fresh eggs and honey so I popped £4 in the loyalty box on leaving for some honey because it’s my favourite. Would 110% recommend and I would definitely go back

The only thing that could of been better described on booking was the enclosed area at the back of Daisy cottage was shared with the cottage next door. There’s some tables and chairs outside which would be lovely to sit outside in good weather with the beautiful view, but I was uncertain if I could use them. This not a complaint at all it’s just a suggestion as some people would prefer to know.

Lovely farm cottage, set in the middle of countryside just outside Penistone

Lovely location with great views across open countryside. Although we didn't get to really meet the owners due to Covid, when we did see them, they were very friendly, smiling and waving, plus they left us some lovely cakes for our arrival. We liked the upside down nature of the cottage, providing for good views across the farm, where we spent time trying to work out whether the cows were small or far away :-)

Softer towels would have been nice. Being very picky, more up to date Tourist Information would have been good, particularly in relation to local pubs/restaurants, but given the Covid situation, I appreciate this would not be easy. Other than that, for a short stay it was perfect.

A perfect place to get away from it all

A beautiful spot with plenty of fantastic walking on the doorstep and excellent hosts, with everyone we saw on this working farm having time for friendly hello. Hope to be back some time

Lovely. Well thought out and very comfy and cosy

Location was excellent. Collection of keys was easy and they allowed pets. Which is amazing. The place offered everything you could possible need for a self catered place.

Finding the place was a bit tense. Lack of signs didn't help and we weren't sure where we where actually staying til I managed to figure it out.

The stay would have been superb had we had good WiFi connections.

The host is friendly, pleasant and approachable.

WiFi connection was not good. In the peresent vitual world internet connect means everything. We had trouble connecting and remaining connected to the WiFi we ended using my data allowance on my mobile phone contract which was not sufficient. I think this is something the host would like to look into.
