Eyes Of Cappadocia Cave Hotel

Our stay at Eyes of Cappadocia Cave Hotel was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like guests and more like family. This beautiful family-owned luxury cave resort is truly one of a kind. Knowing that the father built much of this property with his own bare hands makes you appreciate every detail even more. The pride, passion, and care poured into this hotel can be felt everywhere you go. The entire family works together — hosting, cooking, cleaning, serving, and maintaining the property — and because of that, the level of hospitality is truly next to none. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the host went above and beyond to make it special. Walking into our beautifully decorated room was such an amazing surprise. They also prepared a gorgeous fruit platter filled with fresh fruits and dates, and the suite itself was stocked with quality soaps, bubble bath, and a beautiful tub that made the experience feel extra luxurious. The terrace views are absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking Pigeon Valley from the side of a cliff, you are not staring at rooftops — you are surrounded by stunning valleys and natural beauty in every direction. Looking to the left, you can see Uchisar Castle standing proudly above the landscape, while to the right, on clear sunny days, you can see a magnificent snow-covered mountain in the distance. It was incredible experiencing warm sunshine during the day while still seeing snow on the mountain horizon. The terrace is also a perfect location for watching the magical hot air balloons float across Cappadocia each morning. Another thing worth mentioning is the incredible value. During our trip to Cappadocia, we stayed at another hotel in Göreme that cost nearly twice as much per night, and honestly, if we compared the two experiences, we would have happily stayed our entire trip here in Uchisar at Eyes of Cappadocia. The breakfasts were amazing traditional Turkish breakfasts, and every morning during our three-night stay was completely different and equally delicious. Unlimited water and ice were always available and delivered right to our room with no extra charge and no expectation of tipping — just genuine hospitality and kindness. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. The hosting, service, warmth, and attention to detail were absolutely amazing. They truly go out of their way to make sure every part of your stay feels perfect and comfortable. You are close to many restaurants and just a short walk from the eyes of Cappadocia. You’re also less than 10 minute drive to Groeme. Your. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Cappadocia, there is no question where we will stay. We cannot recommend Eyes of Cappadocia highly enough.

I love how the owner has taken the effort to restore this once-ruined cave hotel, preserving its charm. The warm flooring and overall coziness of the rooms create a welcoming atmosphere. However, the toilets have an unpleasant “stagnant water” odor, which detracts from the otherwise comfortable experience.
