Mountain view Glamping

On arrival Matic gabe us a little welcome pack which included 2 coffee mugs. 2 wine glasses and a small bottle of wine, a night torch and a battery pack to charge our phones.

Checking out at 10am. We would have loved to stay longer. 😊

The most amazing hosts who have really thought of every detail when preparing this beautiful site. The view from the panoramic glamping pods is stunning and better in person. You feel incredibly cared for upon arrival, with clear instructions on activities near by, use of the communal BBQs (which we used for dinner, tools, charcoal etc provided) and where to find your allocated private bathroom. There are also food options from local providers you can also order to the site (pizza, breakfast) if you prefer this. The pod itself is spacious and clean, with a comfortable mattress and deck chairs inside and out to enjoy the views. Yoga mats and blankets can also be found. The HUGE window provides the best view. Lights and chargers are provided for the evening. A coffee machine (free use) is available for warm drinks and hot chocolate in the evening. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean, new, and well maintained. A very short walk from the glamping pod (30 seconds).

Absolutely stunning location - i swear i could have stared at those mountains forever. Perfect as a glamping spot. note that it is glamping - so there still is an aspect of mild roughing it. The huts can get really hot so don’t expect to spend any time in them during the day (we were there late may and it was HOT inside them). The owners provide battery packs and a fan which does help. I loved my stay here and wouldn’t change it for the world but just be prepared that it’s more no frills glamping. You will be hiking up a mountain to get to your tent and be a constant state of mildly sweaty. but the views in my opinion were more than worth it

I was so excited for this property that I checked in right at 2pm, and I think the hosts were a bit surprised to see me that early. They greeted me with a tour up to the cabin. The window was covered with an outdoor shade to prevent the cabin from overheating, but could be rolled back when you wanted the view. The small porch had two sling chairs and a stump table to enjoy the outdoors. The hosts provided a battery operated lantern, a power bank for charging phones, and a small bottle of wine! There was no electricity at the cabins, but there was down the hill at the bathhouse. I was given a key to a private bathroom (toilet, sink, shower). There was also a community coffee machine down there as well as a shelf just for me in the fridge.

Unfortunately, despite the promise, my visit was disappointing. After dinner out, I returned to my cabin the relax and watch the last hour before sunset— golden hour! The whole reason I booked this cabin. That was when a tractor with a mower attachment showed up. My hosts came out and proceeded to spend the next hour directing the tractor around the hillside in front of my cabin to mow. It was loud and the two hosts and tractor driver kept passing back and forth in front of my cabin. They mowing wasn’t done until AFTER sunset. Then again, due to road closures in the mountains, I had to leave before sunrise to make it up the mountain in time and I couldn’t even enjoy a coffee watching the sunrise on the mountains. What was supposed to be my favorite stay of the whole trip was a complete bust for me. This place has such promise, and I’m sure others will enjoy it, but sadly, I was sorely disappointed.
