The place is really close to the Adam’s Peak, and the room is clean and very comfortable. The owner is super nice and helpful. He gave me good advice for the hike but also for the rest of my trip. Bonus : the food is very good

Location and the hosts.

Considering this is a place people might be resting, it was full of noise for us to get a nap.

We booked two identical standard rooms but they were completely different on arrival. One was modern, clean and fine, but the second was dark village-style and had a strong smell from a nearby shared toilet and the area outside was still under construction. The owner was friendly and offered us an upgrade for a reasonable additional fee. It’s okay how we resolved this, but I would still prefer to receive the service I originally booked and stay in the room my wife selected. Overall, we didn’t experience any issues apart from that. The cabin was really comfortable with a nice view to the stream below. The restaurant upstairs was also good and convenient.

One of the rooms had a strong smell from a nearby shared toilet because of this we had to pay extra to upgrade to a cabin. The Wi-Fi did not reach that cabin. Also, electricity was cut off for the entire evening; however, this is a common issue in Sri Lanka and the owner couldn’t do much about it.
