Serene homestead in the heart of Žemaitija

It was exceptionally manicured garden and serene atmosphere. A beautiful authentic cottage. I chose it because it was the cheapest place in the whole Žemaitija but exceeded our expectations tenfold. Will book again.

What a joy!! What a place!! I cannot say enough beautiful things about this place. The owner is a lovely lady who speaks good English and was extremely kind when communicating and receiving us. It was a pleasure to always exchange messages. The property is stunning!! The main house for guests is beautiful, all wooden, and super spacious. The rooms are large and with big windows, so plenty of light. As it's in the middle of nowhere, it's a very quiet, slient spot and you only hear birds and the wind rustling through the leaves. The area is nice to walk around and enjoy the big fields and the sunsets. There's a lot to discover within the premises. A little pond, some gazebos, and even a museum!! The owner will show you around but it's full of amazing antiques and unique pieces. That by itself it's worth the trip! We loved it. There's a big kitchen that you can use, free tea and coffee and plenty of space to chill, play or be outside. I would have loved to stay longer, as the place was one of my favourite ever!!

wonderful place full of character

Charming, spacious rooms in a homestead. Very friendly host who informed us about nature walks in the surroundings. There were also some leaflets available, also in English. Breakfast was available on request and it was delicious, with fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden, and freshly made local specialities, for a good price. The garden is spacious and well attended to, with several sitting corners. The house offers large communal areas, including a very big kitchen.

We booked two rooms and noticed that the walls are thin. We had the whole place to ourselves, but maybe with noisy neighbours it could be a problem. To this we must add that there are very clear house rules stating that from 11 PM onwards silence is demanded.

Amazing surrounding and nature, very calm and relaxing. Hosts even have a small museum (free of charge) in a very old house with old things inside which can bring everyone back in time :)
