Valley house - Aldeia do Meco, Sesimbra

When you are interested in a good mixture of being relatively close to Lisbon and close to nice beaches and nature this is the place to be! The hosts sent us a lot of good information about good restaurants and beaches just upon arrival, which we used heavily.

Not a complaint, but a hint: Dishwasher and washing machine for laundry cannot run at the same time - it will interrupt the program of the dishwasher ;-)

The location is really nice and quiet. The owner was really helpful with providing us with information on places to visit and with everything we needed.

Very warm welcome from the host Andre. There was a bottle of wine, fresh bread and local traditional cake waiting for us in the kitchen! The house is big and very comfortable. It's located in quiet area with beautifull nature surroundings. There are several beaches near (very nice Praia do Meco), but have also visited paradise beaches of Arrabida National Park. Although we've not met with the owner in person, we were in contact on whatsup - we got plenty of usefull information, tips and advices what places are worth visiting, where can we eat etc. It was a perfect stay for us (2 adults + 2 kids). If we ever visit this area again, we'd love to stay there again!

Nothing! Everything was fine.

We loved the spacious appt. and the little garden. André was very caring (we arrived late in the evening and were so thankful for the welcoming gift on the table: bread, cheese and wine for a snack, also coffee for the first day), he responded immediatly to our questions that came up. He also recommended nice and hidden spots to visit. The communication was friendly and very easy. We will definitely come back!

The only thing we struggeld with was the matress in one bedroom - it was much to hard for us, but this was the only issue we had.
