Super small room in the city center

I probably should have checked the listing more carefully, but the room I booked was listed as 12 m2, when in reality it was barely 9-10 m2. The space was so limited that it was almost impossible to move around the bed. The listing photos are very misleading, wide angle shots make the room appear larger and one picture shows the door open to suggest more space, but that is actually the stairs and not part of the room. After over 100 bookings, I had to leave after the first day even though I had paid for 3 and book a completely different room from another host for the remaining 2 days. I'm sorry, but honestly, this space is far too small to be advertised as it was

Considering I only stayed one night, this was a very good central location. The room was very clean and cozy.

Since the room is small, the passage around the bed was a bit tight, so it was difficult to place and open my suitcase. :)

Good value-for-money accommodation in a great location.

Top Location in the middle of the old town, easy walk to all sights. The host was very accommodating, agreeing to a late check out and responding quickly to all messaging. The apartment has everything you need, and it was particularly advantageous that you could cancel very late and for free if necessary. We’d be happy to return.

The bathroom could be a bit cleaner at arrival (toilet bowl and washbasin, one of the towels had a stain) and a tea towel in the kitchen would be useful, otherwise no complaints.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The place was very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and the location was excellent—close to everything, including shops and the beautiful Riva coast. The host was very kind and welcoming, and the price was quite reasonable for such a stay. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Tiny room right in the historic center.

Excellent location right in the historic center. Ideal if you’re spending little time at the accommodation but want to be in the heart of the city.

The reality does not match the photos, as it is very, very small, with hardly any space to move around the bed. Limited amenities, not even a teaspoon for coffee. The kettle and fridge are located in the hallway, in a shared area.

Comfortable stay in the heart of Split downtown!

Great downtown location, perfect for exploring the town. The place has two levels and good air conditioning, which was much appreciated. The kitchen is basic but you don’t really need it — there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within a 2-minute walk. It was clean and the hosts communicated well. Lovely spot overall!

Room was very small and no place to put your suitcases. the shower leaked and made the bathroom floor wet. It would have been nice to have coffee facilities and fridge in the room but the space was too tight to fit that in.

Uncommonly cold weather caught us all out!

Centre of town. No breakfast!

Very cold, air con but no heating. Put all the spare towels over the bed to try and get warm. Shower needs attention, falls down when used. Very well appointed small room.

I fully recommend this accommodation. Very comfortable!

The location was perfect. As Split is not the cheapest city, the amount paid for this accommodation was incredibly reasonable. Towels were available in a cabinet in the stairway, where we could take new towels and put the dirty ones so as not to take up extra space in the room. The owner was also very hospitable. Self-check-in and self-check-out make the process easier. The AC in the room was also very good and needed as Split during early September is very hot!

The room is a bit small however it is more than enough for two people for a two-night stay. We managed just fine. The staircase is also a bit narrow and the steps are quite high, however, we were on the first floor and did not have any trouble going up and down the stairs. Everything else was excellent!

Perfect

Stayed in the room which was perfect for our 4 day stay. Very friendly owner who responds quickly to messages. Easy check in/out. Excellent location. Spotlessly clean and modern. Very comfortable bed, good shower with toiletries. Access to fridge and kettle etc., just outside your door. We would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay!!

We weren’t expecting the amount of stairs their were and the stove didn’t work so we ate half cooked pasta for dinner one night. We were given one roll of toilet paper between 3 girls for 2 nights, not sure why we weren’t provided with more than one

apartment was offered with parking, but when you opened the details it was street parking or parking in a public parking facility…I guess every apartment in the world has then parking!! I do not recommend anybody with a car to rent this place…

Stay here if you like living in a small box

The location inside the old city was fantastic....easily walkable to the Diocletian Palace, Riva, etc. The AC did work but you didn't want to spend any time in the room other than to sleep (see below)

The room was about 8'x10' and the double bed covered virtually all of the floorspace. There was not even space to put down a suitcase on the floor! There was one small stool in the corner that I had to put into the shower at night because you couldn't even walk around the bed to the bathroom (had to hug the wall and walk sideways...and that was AFTER moving the stool to the shower). The closet built into the wall had 1 hangar so we had to stand up our suitcase in the closet and take it out and put it on the bed to get a change of clothes and then return it to the closet. There was NO refrigerator, minibar, DVD/CD player (as per description). The description says it is soundproof but I had to use earplugs at night due to noise on the street (not totally unexpected in the middle of the town but the description is not even close)! Communication with the host was pretty poor. Have stayed in old town city centers many times and this was definitely the worst experience!

Shower area: the construction of the shower wasn’t practical resulting in water leaking into the toilet area. Also space too small and cumbersome to shower or use the toilet comfortably.
