Sweet Tuscany

Ubicación y atención al llegar para poder aparcar.

Las escaleras, son un pequeño hándicap; aunque gracias a la persona que nos atendió al llegar, se solucionó con su gran ayuda.

The location was great, easy walking distance to shopping, attractions, museums etc. We travelled by train to Arezzo and it was about a 15minute walk to Sweet Tuscany. We arrived early and made contact with our host, Fabio, and he came straight over. He was very helpful throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable and as a whole the apartment was quiet and homely. We loved Arezzo, it is a beautiful and picturesque town. Its clean, friendly, safe and has interesting history. We arrived to find it was music festival week and there were various activities happening: free community outdoor music concerts with various Italian pop bands, young opera performers in the Plaza, baroque music concert in the church and more.

Unfortunately, there was no separate air conditioning unit in the upstairs bedroom. Fabio did bring us a large fan to use but it was still too hot up there. To be fair though we were there during the recent heatwave and average temp was 36 degrees! The stairs up to that bedroom are to be negotiated carefully as they are quite steep and the ceiling beam is very low. We didn't use that room at all. The washing machine door was tricky to close however once we called Fabio it was no trouble for him to come and help. There is no lift (as mentioned in booking details) but there are four flights of stairs to the top floor -The Silver Apartment - so be aware when taking bags/cases up and down. I didn't get to advise Fabio, before we left, that we had found the oven dirty and we couldn't work the range hood - I'm sure he would have got that sorted quickly too.

The host was very helpful when we asked to be moved to accommodation on a lower level, which was accommodated. We were also able to leave our bags in storage for approximately 6 hours prior to our departure from Arezzo.

Kitchen was a little small

La posizione

La prima rampa di scale da fare molto ripida e pericolosa. Inoltre l'appartamento era pieno di polvere sotto i letti e il divano, armadio interno sporco, infatti non lo abbiamo utilizzato e un cattivo odore degli asciugamani, poi fornito si di 2 bagni ma li ci hanno detto quando siamo arrivati che si poteva utilizzare una sola doccia invece dovrebbero dirlo prima.Poi il grazioso terrazzino, sporco a dir poco, con piccione in decomposizione sulla grondaia a vista. Che dire non torneremo.
