Would recommend Sweet Tuscany to travellers who are wanting clean accommodation close to the centre

The host was very helpful when we asked to be moved to accommodation on a lower level, which was accommodated. We were also able to leave our bags in storage for approximately 6 hours prior to our departure from Arezzo.

I'm disappointed that somehow after we left Fabio was told the booking was cancelled and you were paying me a refund. Please explain and reverse the refund so that Fabio is payed and then thanked.

Comfortable and quiet.

The location is excellent, very close to the center of town. Zane, our host was waiting at the apartment with the keys and to show us around. The apartment was a good size and very quiet. I would highly recommend and we may be back next year.

Great location

It was ideal for a group of 3 old school friends. Location was very good. A couple of good local restaurants on the door step. Apartment was as it said. One lovely bedroom overlooking garden with a balcony + V small shower ensuite. One small twin, most suitable for children but fine for us. Very nice bathroom with good shower. Kitchen was fine. It suited us really well and was good value for money.

No window in twin room but we left kitchen windows open so it was fine!

Fabulous property in the heart of Arezzo!

Sweet Tuscany was a great location in the heart of Arezzo. Close to great food, culture and wonderful sights. Really loved visiting Arezzo and would look for this option if we return. I managed to leave the keys in the apartment on our first night and didn't realize until we were at dinner. The property brought the keys to us while we were at dinner! What a great host and experience.

We drove into Arezzo and parking was a bit difficult nearby but the property offered directions to a free lot nearby that was a great option. Also, we were travelling with an older set of family and the stairs were a bit much for them, so manage accordingly.

Beautiful, authentic Italy and comfortable combined with a pleasant host.

The apartment is immaculate and decorated with flair…tasteful and comfortable. We had the third level apartment which has a lot of stairs and no lift. But you have a beautiful street view so we could watch the street progression and party during the Celtic festival. There is an excellent restaurant right next door that is convenient and authentic Tuscan cuisine. The walk to the train station is an easy 20 minute walk through a neighborhood then the main street to the piazza. Beautiful town and convenient for commute to Rome and Orvieto also.

There is a city tax to be paid in cash at check in which was not made clear before hand or I just neglected to notice. 14 euro so not a big deal. The small bathroom is an open concept wet room but the floor drain was clogged so I had to mop up the water with a towel and wring it out in the sink. We were a party of 3 so sharing the enclosed shower in the other bath was not a problem and I’m sure they will fix it because they obviously take good care of the whole building. Even with that glitch I highly recommend Sweet Tuscany and Arezzo for a taste of small town life.

Great location in a nice quiet neighborhood

Fabio was very nice and helpful and the apartment was absolutely perfect and immaculate! It was in a great location and within very easy walking distance to the main shopping center of the city as well as the historical center where the antique market was located, which I was in Arezzo to attend. The apartment was very nicely appointed with a wonderful kitchen and anything you would need. The location was perfect and quiet with a view of a lovely small private sort of park. I will most definitely stay here again. Fabio also has a very nice shop below the apartment on the street.

We had a really nice time in Arezzo. The accommodation we stayed in was lovely and well equipped. Everything we needed was in place. You can notice how much love and work was put in this Appartement. The stuff was too really nice and supported us when help was needed.

Smelt a little in the main room, perhaps drain in ensuite. Despite keeping all doors locked. mosquitoes kept coming into the main room. We got attacked hah. would highly recommend spray.

Wonderful host, great comfort, very good location

The location is very good, but not exceptional – you have to walk a little bit to get into the livelier parts of the city, but it's a short walk, probably 5 minutes or so, once you learn the route. On the plus side, that means the neighborhood is quiet – this is basically the OUTER residential area INSIDE the old city walls. If you have a car, mind the limited access zone; I think we might end up getting fined because we didn't realize that's being enforced electronically, and we thought it's no harm in zipping in and out; we'll see. The host was really nice and happy to help with any issues, even if not related to the property, and the amenities are perfect for a short stay – we particularly loved having a washing machine in the bathroom, and an espresso machine, plus capsules, ready to satisfy our morning ritual. All in all, a very nice place, and a really great host!

The apartment is mostly very comfortable, with the exception of the smaller bedroom which really is small, and, most notably, doesn't have any windows. We traveled with a teen who needed alone time, and the lack of a window in the bedroom became inconvenient fast when we were also there.

A wonderful experience. The location was perfect and very central. An easy walk to all the sights and the station. Excellent restaurants nearby. Fabio is an excellent host and he welcomed us on arrival. The apartment was beautiful and clean. Two bedrooms one for us and one for the kids. Two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and a small balcony. Very clean and recently renovated with air conditioning. Great for families or anyone.

Everything was great. A wonderful place to stay. Might be an issue for disabled or elderly people though as there are 2 flights of stairs.

Locked out in middle of the night

We returned after dinner to find the door secured by an internal lock. We called host and were instructed to ring the other residents to let us in. Terrible. Also bathrooms not as advertised. No usb and few sockets. no shades on some windows. beds not made. Far from parking and train. Too bad so poorly managed.

Nearly a nightmare

Good location, very near to the historical city center. The apartment is quite well equipped. The stairs are narrow and steep. One room (the double twin bed one) is without windows. The check-in was scheduled between 15.30-19.30, but there was nobody there and I had to call.

The nightmare began at about 8 pm. First, we thought that all that noise above our heads was due to children running and jumping and laughing. We tought that, as they were children, they soon would have gone to sleep. Unfortunately, they were not children. They were only noisy and unpleasant adults. At 11 pm I complained about the noise with the Host, but they answered that the best thing to do was that I had to ask to the other guests to be more respectful and that they could not intervene as they weren’t on site. I answered I did not want to quarrel with those people. At 11.45 the Host asked if the situation had changed, otherwise they could try to contact the noisy guests. I answered that we were still hearing lot of noise, as if the furniture has been moved. I had no anwer to this last message. The other guests have gone on stepping heavily and speaking loudly up, at least, to 3 am. I could not sleep. I don’t want to blame the Host for the guest’s behaviour, but the Host could have stepped in at 11pm. As at 3 am nothing had changed, I believe that nothing was made to resolve the situation. You cannot simply give me the key, say “call me for whatever you need” and when I call you say “DIY”. In my opinion, it’s simply absurd that the Host told me I had to manage those people by myself. This is not my house, it’s the Host’s. A very bad experience.

La struttura era accogliente e pulita.c'era tutto il necessario. Curato e studiato.

Il bagno della stanza matrimoniale con la doccia a pavimento e senza bidet. Ma per due giorni poteva funzionare. Forse consiglierei all'host di aggiungere qualche tovagliolo di carta e una tovaglia per il tavolo della cucina. Consiglierei di lasciare un asciugamano in più dei tre canonici. Consiglierei ancora una luce sul comodino anche nella seconda stanza.

La posizione

La prima rampa di scale da fare molto ripida e pericolosa. Inoltre l'appartamento era pieno di polvere sotto i letti e il divano, armadio interno sporco, infatti non lo abbiamo utilizzato e un cattivo odore degli asciugamani, poi fornito si di 2 bagni ma li ci hanno detto quando siamo arrivati che si poteva utilizzare una sola doccia invece dovrebbero dirlo prima.Poi il grazioso terrazzino, sporco a dir poco, con piccione in decomposizione sulla grondaia a vista. Che dire non torneremo.
