Gogi Dvalishvili Wine Cellar

Everything.... we had a lovely evening eating an amazing home cooked meal with lots of wine. We loved getting to know our host and hearing all about his wine, his dancing and much more. You should definitly book and stay here. This has been our favourite evening in Georgia so far!

We were met by the host and he was responsive and helpful throughout. The bed room was large and clean, the beds were fine (not a double bed). The location as a stop off point en route to where we wanted to go was great and we found the place easilly enough. It was cheap, but looked to be excellent vfm, in fact it was only a fair price.

We thought we were staying at a vine yard, and had paid for dinner and breakfast with a wine tasting. Honestly, this place has one hectare of wines and spreads it output over 4 diiferent types of wine. None were any better thn a home DIY could do, definately not worth paying for a 'tasting', also the food was bland beyone belive, plain salad, plain BBQ pork, nice enough sliced potatoes, no starter, no desert, no Gerogian spices, no effort. Breakfast was only slightly better. The towels were thin. The bedroom had a toilet and sink but the only useable shower was downstairs and outside in a seperate block. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone frankly, perhaps a one nighter like ours, without dinner if it was cheap relative to the alternatives.
