The apartment was generally ok and matched the photos.
The location works well if you have a car, but it's not very convenient otherwise. I booked the apartment a year in advance, carefully reviewing the terms at that time. Babies were listed as free of charge, and since I was pregnant, I didn’t mention the baby, who hadn’t been born yet. The booking was paid in full and non-refundable. However, before our arrival, the owner insisted on an extra charge for our baby, which spoiled the mood for the trip. We hadn’t requested anything for the baby and couldn’t understand why the full adult fee applied. The owner explained she had issues receiving payments from Booking.com and saw this as an opportunity to earn extra money. Throughout our stay, I attempted to resolve the issue with Booking.com, but their customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive, making the process frustrating and time-consuming. Additionally, the apartment was poorly stocked: for a 10-day stay with seven people, there were only a few diluted drops of soap and dishwashing liquid—clearly stretched to cut costs despite the relatively high price of the accommodation. Other issues included very loud, old door handles that disrupted sleep at night. While the apartment itself was acceptable, the surprise charge, lack of basic supplies, poor communication, and Booking.com’s unhelpful support left a negative overall impression.

Albenga getaway
The property was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, just keep in mind that you must have a car. A great way to disconnect from the busy city life, allassio is only 15 mins drive which was perfect.

Wir waren anlässlich einer Mountainbike Veranstaltung in Albenga, in der oberen Ferienwohnung von Gaia Apartments Albenga. Sehr geräumige und saubere Wohnung, mit allen notwendigen Utensilien für den Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend; wir konnten sogar am Abreisetag - im Anschluss an das MTB Rennen - nochmals die Dusche benutzen. Gerne wieder, jederzeit.
