Guest House Atelšek

The location close to the hillside and the forest is exceptional, it's quiet and you feel totally immersed into nature. It was very clean and spacious, even though a little rustic-looking (but that is certainly part of the fascination of the place). The breakfast was excellent, nothing was missing, and the host kept asking if we wanted anything else.

Maybe the only thing that might be missing during the hottest days of Summer (it was not our case!) was the air conditioning. It is normally not a big problem, as the air from the mountains gets fresh enough in the evening and during the night, but in some exceptionally hot and dry periods it might get too warm.

Excellent location, close to Logar Valley, clean and cosy. Nice breakfast and great coffee. Super friendly host Marko, hvala lipa Marko. Highly recommend.

Olime läbisõidul üks öö.Vastuvõtt oli suurepärane,ümbrus meeldiv.Hommikusöök ok.Veidi eemal suurest maanteest aga samas ka rahulik asukoht.

The owner was very nice and personable. Lovely location. Great breakfast.

One room was very nice and had a balcony, but one room was cramped with no windows except one skylight. There was also an unpleasant odor in the stairwell that smelled like rancid cooking oil. The breakfast was excellent, but the dinner was a disappointment. (Other comments praised the dinner so we wanted to take advantage of it) The owner admitted the trout was over-cooked, but charged the full price. He also did not tell us the price in advance (there was no menu - and I admit we should have asked the price), and added expensive accompaniments (e.g. 7.50 Euros each for French Fries without asking what we wanted. He also added a 4.50 Euros for mayonnaise as a condiment, again without letting me know in advance. While I admit we should have asked the price of the dinner in advance, some of these charges were unusual and/or excessive.
