Valletta - Hastings Studios

Extremely good location: not far from the center (Valletta is a relatively small city), but at night it stays quiet because there are no street bars nearby.

Last night (I stayed 3 nights), there was some sound from the upstairs neighbors (maybe some bad appliances), and it persisted through all night.

The location is great, it's next to a nice park and it's just a 5min walk to the city center and is in a quiet neighbourhood. The flat has everything you need and is well equipped. The communication with the host was good and easy, she explained everything we needed to know for our stay.

The flat has quite a strange setting, the toilet and the shower are behind sliding doors- almost like in a closet. The toilet is right next to the bed which can be unpleasant for the person sleeping on that side and you only have like 30 cm space between the bed and the toilet which makes it hard to get through. The bed is quite small for two people but comfortable. There's a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom, the drain in the shower started to smell bad after a couple of days and then it was inhabited by small flies- that wasn't great. In the toilet there was a weird small "door" which was like a duct with a direct connection to one of the other flats. We could hear them talk, what movie they were watching etc.- a bit creepy. The neighbours upstairs were very loud, there are locals living in that building and you can hear the footsteps, when they leave the house in the morning etc., I was woken up by them every night and early morning and couldn't sleep well. The place wasn't cleaned properly, it was very dusty.

Wonderful place on a quiet street, still 2mins walk from the center. Clean, cozy apartment, with everything needed for a nice stay. The host was very kind and responsive, giving us all the information we need.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but nothing deal-breaking.

The location was vey good - a few minutes walk to the centre of Valletta - in a quiet side street that felt safe. The admin team were very efficient (Emilija) and answered our questions/ organised transport from the airport. Kitchen was well equipped with also a washer/dryer fitted.

The balcony in this second floor flat -No.3 - is more of a Juliet design with a depth of 300mm and no patio. Description slightly misleading.. Communal staircase seemed very dirty. Neighbours in adjoining flats quire noisy to start with - but got better as the week went on. The flat did not smell fresh at the beginning of the stay. Access to the toilet/shower and storage cupboard through mirrored glass doors seemed strange and probably didn't help contain toilet/shower smells. The bed didnt't feel fresh.
