Jerome the host was very nice, easy to communicate with. Keys in lockbox made arrival very easy. The appartment is in a good location for exploring Valetta and is in a beautiful old building. It was a cheap price.

The 5th bed was a very small camp bed which was missing 2 or 3 slats and collapsed when I sat on it. Certainly not suitable for an adult. I slept on the sofa in the end, which was comfy enough thankfully. The two single beds are VERY creaky, the noises woke the two sleeping in there regularly and also me in the next room. When we arrived on the Thursday evening, the cooker had run out of gas, which was really annoying as it was late and we'd bought food to cook (the reason we got a self catering appartment). The gas was eventually replaced, after 5 or 6 emails and not until Saturday. I would have thought this was something to check when the apartment was prepared for us. We couldn't get the TV to work. The terrace is not attached to the appartment as it might seem, its up another two sets of stairs on the roof for the whole building. Its alright, but its just a roof with an old table and chairs on it. Would be nice in the summer probably. We came in March and the appartment was a bit cold, there were no other blankets provided so we slept in our hoodies and jumpers. There is a strange little dining room which seemed haunted and had mould in the corner, we just didnt use that room at all. All rooms lead onto each other, so there is very little privacy, just to make people aware of that. The apartment shares an entrance with another holiday let, so you can hear people in the apartment next door coming and going at various times of the night. Overall it was okay, it was very cheap so we weren't expecting luxury but I'm not sure I'd book again.
