We loved the view and the apartment was good

The lack of free car parking and that the host didn't specify there was no pool (as advertised).

Die Unterkunft im 5. Stock liegt fußläufig zum Zentrum 30 min. und hat unverbauten Meerblick. Geschäfte sind in Nähe. Auch der Kontakt vor dem Bezug war gut. Während der Mietdauer haben wir nichts mehr gehört.

Das Appartement ist leider recht in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Duschen kommt einem das Gestände des Duschkopfes entgegen. Beleuchtung defekt und leider nicht gerade hygienisch. Küche leider sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Auf Kaffee kochen haben wir auf Grund der Kaffeemaschine verzichtet. Eigentlich schade. Leider war auch der Pool dermaßen verschmutzt, dass er nicht zu nutzen war. Mit wenig Aufwand könnte man aus dem App. richtig was machen. 100€ pro Nacht sind für die Aussicht und schlafen in meinen Augen zu hoch.

Firstly the view is amazing and sitting on the balcony was a highlight of the trip! The location was very good, walking distance to lovely bars and restaurants. The walk to Funchal centre was only 20 mins and around 40 to the old town and cable cars. The check-in staff Laura was helpful and the transfer service is highly recommended.

The apartment seemed like it needed updating furniture wise in general. The wardrobe smelt musty. The pillows for the beds were very uncomfortable and ended up using a cushion off the sofa. The sofa was also very uncomfy to sit on!
