Stunning and beautiful!

Absolutely everything! The home is very large with a charming old-world feel with all of the modern day conveniences we all love. The views of Lake Como are one-of-a-kind, so outstanding it takes your breath away. Massimiliano, the host, treats you like a family member. We had the best pasta meal with meat sauce for my husband and I and pesto for my vegetarian daughter. He offered to give us a ride into town, printed out our boarding passes and overall was happy to be helpful - what a gem!

The property is 15 to 20 minutes away from the main town of Bellagio. You have to drive a very windy road to go up the mountain. But that was all part of the experience and Civenna is away from the hubbub and again a hidden gem!

The location and the accomodation itself are fantastic. The view is especially good and you are only a short drive away from Bellagio itself. The main thing is the host (and his family). They make you feel exceptionally welcome and are extremely helpful whether it be local advice or recommendations. Being met with a cooked meal is amazing,

This place is fantastic, we couldn't have asked for more.

Everything we needed was in the apartment - information on local sightseeing, condiments + bread, milk, coffee. It was a lovely tiny walk to the lovely Italian village. But best of all Massimiliallio was the most welcoming host. At 12.30 at night arrival he had a cold bottle of prosecco in the fridge and he made us a delicious pasta dish (for no extra cost). I have stayed in lovely places but this was the nicest welcome I have ever received. We were with four teenagers - we all loved it. Thank you Massimilallio.

Huge dining area, spacious bedrooms, freshly renovated bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Owner was really nice and thoughtful, helped us to plan our week with offerings and maps. We had a wonderful week there, absolutely recommended.
