Stayed here for a couple of games at Wrigley. Location is key as you can walk to most things including the train system which can get you anywhere else. House is very cool and owners were awesome to work with.

My husband and I took our 3 teenagers for their first visit to Chicago. We knew we wanted to stay in a safe walkable part of town with easy access to the train/bus. The Wrigleyville house was perfect! The guest house was super cool! It was clean, with an updated kitchen and bathrooms with plenty of linens. Lots of unique character throughout the house if you appreciate that added touch! The space was the perfect size for our family. Communication with Mark was a breeze. Everything we needed to know about check in was provided a few days ahead of time and exactly as described upon arrival! We attended a Cubs game during our stay, which was an easy walk from the guest house. Parking passes were an added bonus! I loved the neighborhood. I felt safe walking anytime of day. Easy walk to shops if you need to purchase groceries or a Ventra card (bus/train). I would definitely stay at the Wrigleyville Guest house again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience

We had a great stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the field—and the property had plenty of space for our group. Everything felt very modern and updated, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Beautiful koy pond and atmosphere in the back.A couple of things to note: the air conditioning didn’t seem to reach all the bedrooms evenly. Our room (third door on the right) never got cooler than 74, even with the fan on and for open. Also, we couldn’t find the laundry at first but eventually learned, after contacting owner, it’s located in the basement—might be helpful to mention that in the listing.Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we’d definitely come back!

The place is awesome. The ownes are very nice. I gave the description a 4 only because it says private house. You get one floor of a very cool 100plus year old building that the owners have done a great job with. There is a foosball table and our group is somewhat competitive and we got a little loud for the folks on the floor underneath us Other than that highly recommend this place

Spent a a 3 night stay at this fantastic property. Everything was As-Said, if not better, than described. Mark was a phenomenal host. Great communication. Perfect location!! Was clean and convenient. A lot of amenities we didn’t end up using, but nice to have - eg outdoor patio, foosball. Updating the bedding would be an easy and affordable thing to do but would have made it feel more upscale. The fancy toilet /bidet was definitely fun to try — had never seen one of those before! Thank you for the stay! Ps - we LOVED the restaurant Crosby’s kitchen which is walking distance.

We used this apartment as a base to attend the Northwestern/ Purdue football game. An easy 10 minute walk to Wrigley field- but far enough way to be a quiet neighborhood. Property was well equipped with two bathrooms including an en-suite bath in one room. All baths had been recently updated. Although less than a 1 block to the Brown line, the Apartment is very quiet. Also, short walk to Southport corridor shopping and restaurants. Kitchen is well equipped and good size for meal prep. Owners are very thorough, communication was great, check in was simple. Would recommend to anyone and we would definitely stay here again.

I am a Chicago native that has relocated to the Atlanta area for the past 15 years. I haven't been able to come "home" for almost 2 years during the pandemic. This location was perfect. I have always loved the 2 or 3 flat buildings, and the unit has held true to the original architecture BUT with some fantastic kitchen and bathroom upgrades. LOTS of space for a family of 4. About 1 block from the el (train line), walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store. Mark was incredibly quick to reply to any question I had and made the checkout process so easy. I would stay here on any future trip!

If you want to feel at home while visiting a new location this is the place to try. Great 3/2 with remodeled kitchen and baths. Large Dining and Living Rooms. Super charming rear patio with Koi pond. Location is great!! Short walk to shopping and restaurants, train lines, and Divey bikes. Street parking is challenging but we found public transportation to be the best way to get around. Minutes to Wrigley Ball Field. Owners were very helpful with good suggestions for restaurants. Loved it here!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Was my first VRBO and wasn’t sure what to expect. Accommodations were immaculate and spacious. My wife and I met in this neighborhood and lived nearby for a number of years. Was like going back home. Loved the location. So close to the L and great dining. Easy walk to Wrigley if you want to catch a game. Loved the Koi pond and patio. Will definitely book again on our next trip to Chicago.

Mark and Eric are great hosts. They are full of information about the area and quick to help with any question or concern you might have. Not that you'll have any, since they have covered all bases with a detailed guest book and an iPad in the entrance that displays current train schedules. The apartment location is an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the El Train. So much to do, but make sure you take the time to enjoy the koi pond. It's a wonderful oasis and a great place to enjoy a morning coffee. Parking was a treat. I've never had an easier time parking in a city.

Great place, great location, great hosts. Perfect location for our first in-person (and vaccinated!) family party in a long time. The patio and koi pond were such a pleasant place to hang out. Highly recommend!
