We enjoyed our stay at Don’s place. The home was very clean and accommodated three couples very nicely. The neighborhood is very quaint and quiet. We loved taking morning walks. Don was quick to respond to us with any questions we had. We were in town for two Cubs game. Wrigley Field is a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. We would absolutely stay at Don’s place again!

The classic, spotless home was steps from Wrigley Field’s vibrant scene, with cozy beds and all the amenities we needed. The host’s quick responses and local tips made our trip unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return!

I was traveling with a friend group, and we had a wonderful 4-night stay. The property is a flat on the first level of a multi-family house. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of towels and linens, and there was laundry and backyard access. The location is incredible, about a 10-minute walk to Wrigley Field. In about 15-20 minutes you can walk to commercial districts in Lakeview, Northalsted, and Belmont Ave. There’s an L stop a few blocks away as well. The owner was super to deal with and very responsive to questions. If you bring a car he will provide passes for street parking. There are lots of Ubers in the area as well, I don’t think we ever waited more than 5 minutes. Staying here was a big part of a terrific Chicago adventure.

The listing info and prior reviews are accurate. The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Street parking was easy (the Cubs are not in the postseason 🙁), there is a wonderful playground a 10min walk away on School St, besides all the good eateries and shops on Southport and near Wrigley field. Don graciously adjusted the temperature setting remotely and quickly responded to our few questions. Thank you!

This was the perfect place for our short getaway to the city. It was close to Wrigley and other restaurants/bars that were all walking distance. The house does have neighbors above and next to, so we did feel like we needed to be extra conscientious of our volume. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Don was easy to get in touch with and kind enough to help with a couple of requests. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family (all adults in our group). We loved the living/dining room area, as it allowed us to be together without feeling cramped. The neighborhood is great and perfectly located for walking to lots of shops and restaurants.

The apartment's common rooms were spacious and comfortable for our group of four adults and a baby. The bedrooms were small as was the second bathroom. Don was responsive when we checked in and needed our parking passes. The garden is lovely and the location was perfect for us.

A description of the property said that it included parking however, I didn’t say that the parking was on the street. Parking in the area is pretty tight and having to worry about whether I was going to get a parking spot after coming home at night after dinner was a royal pain. The condo itself was fine, except for the toilets. I haven’t used a toilet that small in over 40 years. Perhaps it’s time to install new toilets.

What a wonderful week in Chicago! We loved everything about the house. Kitchen was well stocked, abundant towels and essentials and plenty of room to enjoy quiet time with a good book. I loved the back room looking over the back yard and my grandchildren loved playing back there. No problems with wifi and my daughter was able to work on her graduate studies while we were there. It was a great retreat after long days sightseeing, walking and touring the city. We truly enjoyed it and will plan on coming again.

This house was located in the absolute BEST area. Quiet neighborhood and 2 blks from some fun shopping and really tasty restaurants. It’s also only about a 20 min drive DT (Chicago traffic, ya know). Its a lot bigger than we thought it was. Plenty of space in the living spaces. Highly recommend this property for your next trip to Chicago. Can’t wait to go back and book again

The house and location were very close to shopping and wrigley field and made walking a breeze. Street parking was also easily accessible. The only downside to our stay is that the neighbors have chickens. The chickens are very loud, you can hear them from most of the rooms and get up very early. The house itself is a perfect location for a stay in the city and Don was a great host.

Situated in Wrigleyville /Lakeview, it’s a lively vibrant neighborhood. Walking distance to Wrigley Field, shops & restaurants, we also walked the 1mile plus walk to the lake. The home is very comfortable, tho the en suite bathroom is tiny. There are 3 queens ( a king would be better) with an outdoor space in the rear, but we spent our outside time on the porch/stoop, watching the world go by.

Wrigleyville/Lakeview is perfect location for a great Chicago experience. Lovely neighborhood with shopping, restaurants and El stations within easy walk. Apartment has lots of character and is tastefully furnished. We enjoyed a an evening glass of wine in backyard - beautiful flowers. Dining in was a pleasure with fully appointed kitchen and large formal dining room.

visited Chicago for four nights to celebrate daughter college graduation. Had 5 people in from three cities. Don's apartment was perfect accommodation and gathering place for our group. Don is a great communicator, prior to and through out our stay. Dani was onsite and provided easy access and tour of apartment when we arrived. 3 beds (comfortable), 1 lg bath / 1 small bath off master bed. Kitchen fully equipped. Common area (LR/DR) is attractive and very generous, providing comfortable spaces for us to retire from days out, and visit together cooking / dining / relaxing. Sun-room off kitchen was nice amenity to enjoy breakfast. Beautiful curb appeal, street, and easy access to shops / restaurants / grocery / and transit. Overall, excellent choice for us.

Absolutely love this place! I've been to Chicago so many times, but this is the first time that I stayed in Wrigleyville, and now I won't ever stay anywhere else. Our family fell in love with the neighborhood, we could walk to so many restaurants and shops, and we actually walked to a Cubs game. The place was so charming and well appointed, and there was street parking with a permit, which we got when we arrived. We never had any issues finding a spot. Dani who lived on the property was able to help us with any questions and with accessing our rental. The neighborhood felt totally safe and we can't wait to go back!

We picked this place in part because of proximity to Wrigley but the location is great regardless of whether you go to game or not. Street is super nice and near lots of restaurants, shops and transit. Apartment is very charming and comfortable with plenty of room. We loved it and would definitely stay again. Hosts were great too.
