Ribeira Apartment

What we liked was something that actually made us not like it because it was very close to the river , and it is very congested.

Not easy access , specially if you have luggage , you would need to walk a block from where the taxi drop you off and if you arrive during regular hours you would need to navigate through people and roll your luggage on a cobblestone street which is not fun. The building is right behind restaurants , so you are going to smell food until the kitchens are closed. Not a good place to stay on during summer season as it gets hot inside and there is no AC. The listing shows a washer machine but I didn't even try to wash anything because the tray where you add the soap was filled with leftovers from previous washes and looked bad.

Location, beautiful apt, roomy, and quaint

The fans were not very effective due to heat wave

Local muito bom, espaçoso e ao lado do Cais da Ribeira.

Good location close to the Douro river. Apartment big enough for 4 people.

Beds were not comfortable, bed blanket had musty smell and didn’t have top sheets in master bedroom. All towels were old and had nasty musty smell as well. We did wash them before we could use. Kitchen did not had enough condiments and dishes for 4 people. Washing machine did not had any detergent.
