Very good location on the main avenue. Rented rooms are part of an old building big apartment ,wisely refurbished by the hosts.My room was equipped with a small fridge,but in the common are,one can find a big fridge,electric kettle,tableware etc. Very welcoming hosts.

The location was good, on the main avenue, close to the harbor and the historic downtown. I liked the tastefully decorated room and the large private bathroom, as well as the access to a common room with a refrigerator. It was very nice that Marta and Miguel provided a small Nespresso coffee maker in the room as well as a small sample of Moscatel wine and local cookies. Miguel also explained the history of the apartment. The hosts were very accommodating when I contacted them to ask if I could drop off my luggage mid-morning so I didn’t have to carry it around with me until check-in time.

The weather was very hot during the three nights I stayed in Setúbal. This accommodation does not have air conditioning, and the room got quite hot during the day. Unfortunately, I couldn’t open the window because of the traffic noise coming in from the main avenue that runs along the house. A fan was provided, but it didn’t help cool down the room. I therefore wasn’t able to sleep well due to the warm weather, which is obviously not the hosts’ fault. I assume that, because it is a historic building, they are probably not allowed to install air conditioning units.

I liked everything, beautiful rooms, with character and personality, beautiful vintage design, unique in an old heritage building. The location is perfect, close to everything. The hosts are very kind and helpful, they made my stay very confortable with everything I needed. I highly recommend this accomodation.

The location was OK - close to the centre, even thoguh thanks to the not well insulated widows, there was noise from the main road. Shared kitchen/room was nice.

We knew that the room isn't big, but the space could have been much better used. The only wardrobe doesn't have any shelves. Windows don't isolate noise very well, you have to lower the heavy blinds. Bathroom noise and light disturbs in the room if someone is sleeping. Bed is very uncomfortable with only one shared blanket.
