Ideal place to stay , but could be better if negative issues sorted.

Our maisonette was lovely and light and ideally situated in the attractive village of La Colle -sur -loup Ideal for us for our weeks stay as tucked away and we liked having our own private garden area & terrace (but see below). Also nice to have doors to the outside from both upstairs and downstaris. Pleasant few minutes walk into village centre which consisted of one main street , with bars, restaurants, and a few shops. We particularly enjoyed our meal at L'arterlier des Saveurs. Also nearby train station can be accessed by car ,at Cagnes-sur-Mer with regulart trains to Nice /Cannes/ Monaco /Menton/Eze/Ville Franche/Grasse and other local places. Pleasant and helpful owner Bruno, met us on arrival and showed us round, and also responded promptly to any queries or small problems.

On arrival to find no attempt had been made to tidy up the terrace area, there were old toys , broken umbrella, bits of soggy old paper & other bits strewn about, and the floor, tables and chairs covered in debris, old leaves and dirt. I spent over 2 hours cleaning it all up just to a state we could use. The house itself was better althought not quite to the standard we would have liked,we didn't like finding 2 cupboards full of old food, don't mind the odd condiments but this was loads of stuff, and we feel a fridge /freezer should be empty unless a welcome gift, but if had lots of partially used things all left in there , which we wouldn't touch as no idea how old. Minimum room in freezer compartment too as full of bags of chips some opened . Various little things missing, like no mirror other than in bathroom, no table cloths for inside or out, no breadboard ,just one old chopping board, etc. and loads of the crockery chipped.

It is a beautiful property with everything we needed. It is in a quiet location, but a short drive to large supermarkets, other villages and not far from coastal towns. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. Bruno, the owner is very friendly and helpful.

Loved it and wish to return!

The apartment has a lovely terrace and a small own garden, plus the best of all: a bigger shared garden with a great pool! Our child loved it and we went swimming several times a day. The apartment is well equipped: In the kitchen there was everything we needed and a washing machine for clothes is always a big plus. The bed was comfy and you can watch several French channels on the TV and Netflix as well. Previous visitors have left a bunch of maps, brochures of area and sights in the apartment and it was really nice to read them. The location is great if you want to explore the area: St-Paul-de-Vence is 3 km away, the lovely town of Vence 5 km away, Nice 17 km away and the beaches 6 km away. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Bruno!

The area is very humid and you can really feel it especially in the downstairs of the apartment. We kept the bedroom door to the garden (lovely feature) open most of the day which helped the downstairs feel dryer.

Great property in perfect location (all major tourist destinations within an hour's drive - we visited Cannes, Mougins, Antibes, Nice, Menton, Monaco, Pitchoun Forest and Galimard perfume workshop - the last two were the favourites of our 12 year olds) Pool was lovely and a good size.

Liked everything but a possible recommendation would be to have a guest book - we always find guest books very useful when deciding what activities to do, which restaurants to choose, etc

Felt like the Provence at the Côte D'Azur, perfect combo

Centrally located house, ideal to visit all the main attractions nearby. Close to St Paul De Vence, Nice, Antibes & Cannes, only a short drive away. Bruno was a good host, explaning the facilities into detail and overall good communicator.

La grande chambre. Le jardin avec terrace. Les deux salles de bain.. L'accès au jardin. La piscine est grande. Nice et la frontière italienne sont pas loin.

Dans le déscriptif du logement, il est bien écrit "piscine privée". Ceci n'est pas vrai, car en réalité la piscine est partagée avec les autres logements.

Rustige en goed gelegen accommodatie

Het bed was zeer aangenaam om in te slapen. We hebben nooit last gehad van omgevingsgeluid. We waren heel tevreden met de grootte van het zwembad. Over de overdekte parking waren we zeer tevreden. De locatie was optimaal: je bent dicht bij meerdere grote supermarkten, shoppingcentrum, steden zoals Nice, Antibes, Cannes,…

Er waren zeer veel mieren aanwezig, hier kan Bruno uiteraard weinig aan doen, maar het maakte de ervaring toch iets minder aangenaam. We hebben enkele keren eten moeten weggooien doordat er tientallen mieren opzaten. Het is dus aan te raden om geen enkele kruimel achter te laten in huis. Wij legden al ons eten in de oven of koelkast zodat ze geen mier aankon zitten. Daarnaast was de algemene staat van het huisje (zwembadrand, zwembadbodem, tuin, tuintafel/terras, deuren) aan vernieuwing toe.

Heerlijk huisje voor 2 personen aan de Côte d’Azur

Heerlijk Frans leuk klein huisje voor 2 personen. Mooie woonkamer met airco, fijn bed en nette badkamer met inloopdouche. En een mooi zwembad in de tuin. Fijn om de auto afgesloten en overdekt te kunnen parkeren.

Het terras was zeer klein, niet onderhouden en de terrasmeubels waren versleten.

La climatisation. La piscine. Les 3 logements mitoyens mais tout à fait indépendants:aucune gêne avec les autres vacanciers. Un abri couvert pour véhicule à l’intérieur de la propriété fort appréciable car se garer à la Colle est très difficile.

Relaxant, agréable, confortable

Je soulignerais l'atmosphère relaxante, le confort, la piscine... tout était parfait pour notre séjour en famille. Notre hôte, Bruno, a été très aimable, il nous a attendus à la propriété malgré notre grand retard dû à la circulation, et il nous a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires.

Wir haben vor allem das schöne Haus genossen und sind nach unseren Ausflügen immer sehr gerne „nach Hause“ gekommen.

Wirklich schöne und großzügige Unterkunft. Toller Garten und großer Pool. Fussläufig zum netten Örtchen mit Restaurants.

Die Aussenbereiche könnten etwas mehr Pflege vertragen.
