BOCO Boutique Hotel

We loved the location in a neighborhood instead of tourist zone. It was very convenient to seeing the sites, but away from the extremely congested Valletta area. When the cruise boats dock on Valletta, there were a lot of people over there! It was so nice to be able to escape to the peacefulness of the Three Cities area. And it was a quick and inexpensive ferry ride back and forth. After exploring the Main Street along the waterway, spend some time walking up and down the streets. There are some great places to explore. We had a wonderful time talking with a local man for a really long time one day. And the Aussie Store across the street had great prices on water and snacks. Eating breakfast on the rooftop was a great way to start each morning.

Like all of Malta, it’s on a hill. It isn’t a dislike at all - but certainly one should consider timing the walk uphill to the hotel so that you can avoid the heat of the day.

Lovely view over to Valeta and Grand Harbour and peaceful communal area where you can purchase many drinks soft and alcoholic

I believe the cheeses and meats ham etc should be in a refrigerated unit for the obvious reason

Great place to stay, full of charm and in the heart of the old town, with just a short walk and ferry into Valletta.

The room was a medium size and comfortable for our stay. Breakfast was great with a good selection and well prepared food. The hotel is located on top of a moderately steep hill, which may be worth noting for some guests.

Nothing major — we really enjoyed our stay overall, with only a minor point that the mattress was a bit too soft for my preference.”
