I loved the staff they were amazing and very humble .. food was yummy and big portion , eating by the lake was a special ..
The WiFi keep disconnecting & the location was nice but the property was hidden in a dark corner which tuk tuk was necessary at night bcz it’s too dark to walk ..

We had a very nice stay at Serendib guest house. We only stayed for one night. The owner was really nice. The room was clean and the airco working good. The breakfast was sublime, next to a river with lots of wildlife. Close to good restaurants and the beach. Nuwan, the very well English speaking driver and brother of the owner, drove us from the airport to the guest house, explaining all about Sri Lanka and Negombo. The next day we went on a city tour with him and he also drove us to Wilpattu, with a lot of stops along the way.

There was a problem with hot water in the room I booked so the management arranged other room in a nearby hotel for me. A very well mannered driver picked me up from the Airport and took me to that hotel. Next morning they sent a car for me to take me to the Serendeep Guest house for breakfast and it was good on the bank of a canal. I made payment and then driver sent me back again to the same hotel. So I am very thankful to the Serendeep Guest house management for their help and support.
