Perfect weeked break in Dublin

Lovely spacious rooms, quiet at night and big comfy beds. Great location, walkable to Grafton Street, Temple Bar and the Guiness Store House.

The hotel itself would have left a very a good impression, but unfortunately this was slightly affected by the staff.

Hotel is in perfect location, room was clean, bed large and comfortable as well the pillows .

Cons of the room: it was difficult to shower because the water pressure was very low. We also had a room facing the street, and the noise from the street was very clearly audible and disturbed our sleep. Some members of the staff were rude. The employee working at the bar and one staff member during breakfast communicated in an unfriendly and rough manner. Additionally, after we were seated at the breakfast table, no explanation was given about the rules or what options were available from the menu.

Highly recommend the Fabulous Hyatt ❤️

Everything, the staff are so nice, helpful and friendly. I would say that nothing is an issue for them, they make it look so easy. Fab security in the hotel. The room was very spacious, so quiet. The breakfast was fabulous, no unhygienic buffet in the Hyatt, just what I expected as they value hygiene. Plenty of GF options. The location is great. Beautiful decor. SuperValu is a few minutes walk away. St Patrick's Cathedral is across the road. I loved the Hyatt. l highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean rooms and kind staff, but the location and food left much to be desired.

The property was clean and the rooms were decent. Mr. D’Souza in the restaurant was especially sweet and helpful, and the check-in and checkout process went smoothly. The location is pretty quiet and conveniently close to St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

The location wasn’t very convenient, as it wasn’t close to many major tourist destinations aside from St. Patrick’s Cathedral, so we had to rely on Ubers to get around. There weren’t any good restaurants nearby, and the food at the hotel was expensive and subpar at best.

Good hotel

Centrally located hotel. Spacious room. Friendly staff. We requested a late check-out and they were able to accommodate it at no cost.

There was a conference taking place at the hotel so it was on the busier side. Something to note when booking with large chain hotels vs a boutique hotel. While the room was clean, the bathroom had a urine scent. I realized that it was from the shower which had a stone floor and was porous. If someone were to relieve themselves in the shower, the liquid collects around the rim of the shower and seeps into the stone if not rinsed properly. There was nothing to really do about it, just an underlying smell in an otherwise clean bathroom.

All positive apart from the full irish breakfast!

The hotel was superb in every way from cleanliness to comfort from taking it easy in the bar/lounge to having a gorgeous bed to sleep in and everything else in-between. The decor throughout the hotel was just lush with modern and rich colours that compliment eachother, nothing was out of place, and the furniture was stylish and simple, nothing fussy! No knocks of damage was visible on any of the furnishings. So try it out for yourself as I'm sure you'll be impressed!

The restaurant was just gorgeous, so no complaints there. One issue I do have is with the full irish breakfast is that there's a doorstep slice of toast with a fried egg placed on top, not good, two slices of normal toast is sufficient or sliced irish brown bread. Perfect! Also, there was no jug of water which really comes as standard on the table, and no condiments of any sort offered or placed on the table. One last negative is that the bacon very tasty but was the streaky type bacon and not your typical back bacon which is usually what you expect from a full irish breakfast. I'll finish with a fantastic positive is that there was virtually no fat or grease visible on the plate.

Large, modern, comfortable room. Best bathroom facilities of the trip. Curtains did a very good job of blocking the light. An easy walk to/from many local attractions.

Parking. The parking garage was impossible to find, and the hotel website and reservation emails didn't mention the location at all. I had to park in a bus zone while my wife went in to ask where to park. And the garage is very tight with very few spaces. Not sure what I would have had to do if it was full. Better communication would help a lot: both on how to access parking, and a way to reserve a spot ahead of time.

Close proximity to areas of interest to us.

Beds were super firm to the point of discomfort, so not able to really sleep. No sheet in the bed, so either the heavy blanket or no covering. Would be nice to have something in between available.

An unexpected surprise of a hotel in a great location!

The Cathedral Suite was a fantastic room with a wonderful corner view, so much space, and nicely decorated. The female concierge who checked me in was very polite/helpful and the porter was incredibly kind, helpful with my luggage and helped me figure some things out about my room. The cleaning staff were attentive and friendly. I loved the location- great restaurants and shops. Could walk 15 minutes to most places including St. Stephen’s Green. (I prefer not to stay in the noise of Temple Bar. )The whole experience was a very pleasant surprise!
