Nice holiday apartment

A very nice holiday apartment, totally off the beaten track, but you are in an olive grove, with cicadas and nice views on the hills. The place had modern amenities and was very clean.

Misleading description and non-peaceful property

- The bed was comfortable

- It was difficult to communicate with the owners since they don't speak good English. - The flat had a funny smell and there where dirty dishes stored as clean. - In theory, a balcony and/or terrace is included but we had none. The "balcony" is a tiny table squeezed in the stairs' hallway, where other people keep passing to access the appartment next to ours, and next to which they where hanging their clothes on a rack. That is not a balcony. We asked if we would use the terrace on the ground floor that had a nice table but we were told that it was for bigger groups. So, no chance to enjoy the outside area of the flat. - During the week days, there was a dog barking every day from 8:30am and would barely stop doing it. Although we asked the owners to do something, it only worked for the first day. - The flat has two windows, one facing the dog barking, another facing the hallway where people keep passing and can see through. There is nothing covering or offering some privacy. This means, the flat over promised features it did not have in reality (balcony/terrace); it does not offer a peaceful environment for vacation because you either hear the dog, or the people even using their phone speakers to hold calls; and, for whatever reason, the owners do not offer proper support.

Very clean. Recently renovated. Quiet. Surrounded by mountains and forests. Not far from an interesting pizzeria with delicious pizza.

Flexible check-in hours.

The object of accommodation in reality has 1 bedroom instead of a living room and a bedroom, as indicated in the profile. There is no coffee, no tea, no kettle, or even olive oil for cooking basic food, which should be the norm in an apartment that is rented for almost 100 euros per day. We were disappointed when we arrived at a two-room apartment together and had to spend two days in one room. Poor combination of price and quality.
