Lovely comfortable and bright apartment in a very central location

There was very little to not like but if I had to be picky the stairs at the front of building (about 6) and a few more at the back made it a little difficult with large suitcases

A perfect experience.

This was the best booked apartment that we have ever had. Julia was just amazing. She provided loads of very useful information prior to our arrival, and kept in touch during our stay. The apartment itself was superb, the parking was excellent. Brilliant location, just a short walk to the high street. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on a future visit.

Clean, bright and very comfortable, with lush furnishings! Beautiful penthouse, superbly located within a stones throw of central Winchester. Perfect accommodation for our celebrations! Julia was a wonderful host, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. No hesitation in returning and would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

Prime location and the most comfortable beds, I felt like I was sleeping in a warm cloud. Clean and perfect facilities with a washer, dryer, full kitchen set up and amazing views whilst still managing to be nice and quiet. The host Julia is just amazing with her communication, and she gave us so many recommendations about what to do and where to eat in Winchester. We stayed as a family of 4 visiting our daughter who studies at The University of Winchester and we could walk everywhere we need to be.

Fantastic property, in a brilliant location

Everything about the property is brilliant. The location is fantastic, literally just a few minutes from the high street and yet still in a peaceful location. Facility wise, it has absolutely everything you need to relax, be cosy, cook a full meal and get a great night's sleep. It is spotlessly clean, decorated and furnished to a high standard. Julia, the owner, is amazing with communications and genuine warmth to make sure you have what you need, know how things work and is an oracle of information with regards to recommendations about where to eat, shop and go in the local area. We will return for sure and can recommend this place for anyone to stay. It's truly brilliant

Modern, quiet apartment, kept very clean and well stocked with appliances. The building has a lift to the top floor, and the apartment is located within a 10 minutes walk from the bus and rail station. The shops are two minutes walk away. The owner, Julia, was extremely helpful and caring.

Beautiful residence in a beautiful location.

The location of the property suited our needs perfectly. A very short stroll into town with simple access in and out of town. Our host Julia was incredibly attentive with attention to detail was second to none. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and was a joy to stay in.

The host goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

The apartment was spotless and very well decorated. It had an excellent, well-stocked kitchen. There was tea, instant coffee, milk, and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge. She had local brochures and magazines, a map of the city, umbrellas, and binoculars for us. She also sent videos of herself walking through the entrance process and the features of the apartment. The beds were downright luxurious. Can't think of one more thing she could have done.

Spacious and immaculate. Everything that might add comfort and make our stay better was there. It was quiet even though so close to the centre and the views from the windows very pleasant. Julia greeted us,was helpful and her directions and suggestions were clear and useful.

Relaxing , comfortable stay

The Sky Penthouse was perfect in every way, spotlessly clean, comfortable and charming. The host was extremely helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay initially by sending a video on how to access parking and property with recommendations on restaurants etc. There was Prosecco waiting in the fridge, chocolates and snacks, bottled water and fresh flowers. The apartment was a 5 min walk to town. Would happily recommend this property and would be more than happy to return if ever visiting again

A Luxurious Centrally Located Apartment With Free Parking

An immaculate third floor apartment - 2 bed, 1 wc/shower, sumptuously furnished, thoughtfully appointed, luxurious linen and towels, extremely well equipped kitchen, an extensive essentials welcome pack and a cheeky much appreciated gift too! Absolutely THE location to stay in Winchester with the high street and all tourist sights within 5 mins walking distance, free parking for your stay too.

Possible a portable A/C in summer, fans were provided, however being on the top floor and the new efficient windows and insulation - it was a little warm :)

Winchester is a lovely town and this apartment is a great place to stay to enjoy it.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious apartment easily accessed using videos the owner, Julia sent to us. Julia was very thoughtful in providing a welcoming bottle of wine and snacks. The courtyard garden was stunning! Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Julia's two videos explained entry perfectly. Parking space is easy to access. Apartment is big, bathroom is huge. Welcome snacks and wine were a nice touch! Well stocked coffee/tea/salt/pepper/paper towels/ect. 300yd walk to city center.

A perfect apartment in the heart of olde Winchester within walking distance to everything.

My wife and I are pleased to recommend Julia and her apartment, Sky Penthouse, in Winchester, UK. We stayed there for about 16 days in April 2023. The two-bedroom apartment was clean, neat, and very well furnished and equipped, especially the kitchen where we had fine china and all the usual equipment for a kitchen. We cooked several meals without problems. The living room was large with two very comfortable couches and a great TV. The dining room was just right for the two of us and would accommodate at least six people. Each bedroom had a king-sized bed, and these beds were the most comfortable that we had slept in during our 4-month vacation in Europe. The bathroom was quite nice with a great stand-up, walk-in shower. The views of the rooftops, gardens, and church spires of olde Winchester from the third floor windows were welcoming and seemed to draw us into the ancient history of this first capital of England. The elevator (lift, in UK-ese) worked perfectly. The Sky Penthouse has its own parking space just out the back door. The apartment is located just one long block (a 5-minute walk) from the pedestrian way through the heart of olde Winchester. It is within easy walking distance to great restaurants and several historical attractions such as the famous Winchester Cathedral, the Great Hall (where King Arthur’s roundtable is), Wolvesey Castle, and the Royal Oak (the oldest pub in England), to name just a few. Julia helped us settle in and gave us great advice on things to do and places to go and places to eat. She was attentive to our needs and always available if we had questions or needed advice or help with directions. Winchester is a great place to visit in the UK. It has a population of only about 35,000 and is easy to get around in. If you go, stay in Julia’s Sky Penthouse. It’s in the heart of the olde part of Winchester.

Everything! The penthouse was lovely and had everything you needed for comfort and enjoyment. Excellent location - 2 minutes from the cathedral which is where we wanted to go for the Christmas markets. Central location to excellent dining experiences. Excellent instructions given by Julia meant that it was very easy to find and access the property. Julia was so helpful with her knowledge of the area and took into account everything that we found important. She made it so easy for us.

Perfect location, perfect apartment, perfect host

Sky Penthouse is a luxury experience. This is an extremely well located property with parking plus a further road space if needed. The information provided beforehand is set out in short videos to explain how to get into the apartment and also to show you around it. The apartment is well appointed with large comfy beds, lots of storage space, nice bathroom, and comfy living area. TV is a good size too. Kitchen has everything needed to cook full meals and the dining area comfortably seats 4. Julia provides loads of information about Winchester, and gives recommendations for restaurants and activities. We ate at The Ivy and Chesil Rectory which were both outstanding. Its just around the corner from the theatre too which we made use of. A brilliant stay - we will recommend and will return at some point!
