Warm, comfortable, convenient.

The location was excellent It was wonderfully clean and warm on arrival The shower and bathroom facilities were exceptionally good

We were 3 ladies too near to our 80s for comfort, so we could have benefitted from a handle in the shower, and a means of holding on to something going up the narrow and circular staircase. Particularly when carrying cases up them. The videos we were sent by the host needed updating, as some items mentioned were missing. This was not a huge issue though.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would go back there if we are ever in Winchester.

The location is superb. Everything (including most attractions) is within walking distance. The hostess organised the parking permit for us which really facilitated our movements. There are lots of public parking spaces around the property. The hostess sent us a video ahead of time which explains all aspects of the cottage and parking. She also suggested some restaurants (and indicated which restaurants require advance booking) and attractions to visit. According to availability, she is flexible on check-in and check-out times. We highly recommend it.

A nice property to stay in for our short time in Winchester

The Property was very clean , well equipped to a high standard and comfortable . It is very close to Winchester Centre so everything is in walking distance .

The owner kindly provided permit parking but we were unable to park close to the property overnight . There is a public car park over the road to use when loading and unloading your car

Relaxing in Style in the Heart of Winchester

Our experience with The Nestle House was excellent even before arrival, through Julia’s timely and detailed communications. Julia continued to be available throughout our stay for all our needs - she is a wonderful host! As for the property itself, it has all the amenities you could want for a comfortable, relaxing stay - everything is like new, and spotlessly clean. The cottage is located in the heart of Winchester, within easy walking distance from the Cathedral, the river, shops, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay there again!

Julia is a great host, she recommended great restaurants and things to see and do. The house was decorated for Christmas with a beautiful Christmas tree. The home is very clean and comfortable. The location is great for walking into town. Definitely recommend the Nestle house.

The Nestle House is a top-rated short term stay for a reason!

I loved everything about the property! It was my first time staying in Winchester and this cozy cottage was the perfect pick for us! I rented it for my husband and our two granddaughters that live nearby. Julia, the owner and host was helpful at every turn. She was over the top accommodating! The cottage was impeccably clean and tidy and stocked full of everything a traveler would need. The beds were very comfortable with great linens. The location of the Nestle House was walking distance to the Cathedral, shopping and any food preferences you might have. We were so happy we found this spot!

Kitchen very well appointed with (unusually in our experience) sufficient pots, pans and crockery. Beds comfortable and house immaculate Great central location

Everything..nothing not to like. The host is so accommodating from start to finish explaining everything even videos! .. The house is lovely very comfortable and cosy most comfortable bed ever 😴 Everything is beautiful clean and well equipped.. beautiful fire burner which we used .. we arrived and the Christmas tree was up which made a beautiful Christmassy feeling just lovely 😍 You can just park your car free with the permit and leave it as everything is so close all walking distance fab.. we had a great weekend in a fantastic house thanks Julia 😊

A great place for a weekend in Winchester in a very comfortable environment

The property was ideally located with a five minute walk into the centre of town for the shops and restaurants the property was lovely and clean and obviously very recently renovated the kitchen included quality equipment and implements there was plenty of tea, coffee and milk provided

Schönes kleines Häuschen, in welchem wir uns drei Tage lang wie zuhause gefühlt haben.

Alles super. Ich würde wieder hier absteigen wenn ich nach Winchester reise. Das ganze Haus war sehr sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Julia hat mir vorweg hilfreiche Videos geschickt und somit war es kein Problem, das Haus und die Schlüssel zu finden. Ich kann das "Nestle House" sehr gerne weiter empfehlen. Es liegt 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum der Altstadt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top.

Es gab NICHTS zu beanstanden. Alles super.
