Separate private 1 Room Casita. 'Casita' means small house in Spanish. This casita is a detached little home away from home about the size of an average hotel room. Casita has a queen sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, 32' TV with satellite, toaster, electric hot plate (No Stove), 3/4 bathroom, washer/dryer, and WIFI internet access. Pack-n-play available if needed for those travelling with infant or toddler.
Room also has a ceiling fan, and heating/AC.
Feel free to relax and pull up a chair in front of the fountain. Grill also available for your use.
Quiet family neighborhood. 2 parks within walking distance,
-5 minutes to shopping malls, restaurants,
-5 minutes to BosqueTrails (2 mountain bikes available),
-15 minutes from Old Town,
- 12 min to Balloon Fiesta Park,
- 10 minutes to freeway access I-25 and I-40,
- 15 minutes to Sunport,
- 15 minutes to Sandia Resort and Casino/Golf Course,
- 20 minutes to Base of Sandia Tram (access to ski lifts and fine dining),
-7 minutes away to NM Rail Runner which can transport you North to Santa Fe, South to Downtown or Belen.

The casita is very clean. Bathroom and shower very nice. In a quiet upscale neighborhood. Entry into casita is beautiful! Water feature and landscaping as you walk in is beautiful. Easy entry because homeowner gives you an easy to remember code. Close to restaurants and tons of retail shopping. We stayed to go to balloon fiesta and it was easy to get to Intel park and ride. Host always answered any questions we had quickly . We brought a small dog. If traveling with a dog, please note, this neighborhood is xeroscaped so you'll find a nice dog park on Chantilly street. There's another park at the bottom of the hill, but the dog park is nicer. Nice refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, two burner hot plate and plates and utensils, but we only used the microwave. Would definitely recommend.

The host was very nice in messaging us and keeping us up to date on check-in. The room is about the size of a hotel suite without the hotel noise. There's a nice water feature outside the room that masks any other noise. We definitely felt like we were staying at someone's house. We never saw the hosts, but the room is right by their open front door. Less like the Vrbo properties we are used to. The washer/dryer buzzer is startling, but you get used to it. We were asked to strip the bed and throw everything in the washer when we left. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning easy to control. It has a large refrigerator and a microwave. It was a good place to stay for our purposes, and the price was right.
