Villa Johnny and Mary's house breathtaking view

Nice 3 bedroom house with a stunning view from the living room and the main bedroom, and an even nicer view from the rooftop terrasse. The host, Graziella, was very nice and helpful with many tips and ideas for trips and visits, as well as her son Alessandro who helped with bringing our luggage up the 200 stairs. we enjoyed our stay as well as the Etna visit and the Alcantara gorges.

We loved the property itself. The size and especially the roof terrace were great and the owners were so nice. We had a great stay!

The steps up to the house, all 330 of them (to the front door) did take the edge off of the perfect house and location. We were aware of the steps but they are very steep and there are definitely 330 of them as we counted. Yes the view is incredible from the top but you do get used to that after 2-3 days. You wont get used to the steps especially in 30 degrees heat!

We would like to thank Graziella and her family for the opportunity to stay in their Sicilian family home. 3 generations of the family made our stay memorable with their hospitality, friendliness and were always there to help. Roomy apartment with balcony all round the front and sides and roof top terrace. We did find showering in the bath a challenge but not a problem. The apartment has a spectacular 180 degree view of town and coastline. Amazing in daylight and at night. Beautiful sunrise. The 340 steps to the house certainly kept us fit and were worth every step for the view and we felt that we had earned the extra pastry, cake or ice cream in the many good restaurants in Taormina below. The bottom of the steps is just a short walk into the town's main street. Taormina is a truly beautiful town, with views of Etna from many areas.
