Edith’s atelier is the perfect home stay in Paraty! The historical centre is a lovely short walk away, along the canal, and there is so much culture and crafts. Edith makes incredible coffee, the room is so beautifully decorated, and I felt like I was staying with an old friend. Edith welcomed me into her home and even invited me to join her to see Alceu Valença in concert on my 2nd night! I wish I had more time in Paraty because I feel like I barely scratched the surface. When you visit you must stay with Edith, she is such a lovely human!

Edith é um amor de pessoa! Me apresentou pontos turísticos da cidade, indicou lugares legais pra conhecer, me ajudou ficando com as malas antes do check in e após o check out, e foi extremamente simpática e acolhedora. Com certeza irei retornar e me hospedar com ela novamente. Foram dias incríveis! ❤️
Acho que seria bom se tivesse um filtro de água ou algo do tipo na hospedagem, pois facilitaria bastante, mas todas as vezes que eu precisava encher minha garrafinha a Edith se colocava a disposição para encher

For its value, this rustic backyard bungalow with it's own bathroom was fabulous with fantastic host! Edith was tentative lady with any need and questions, just lovely person. Location is fantastic, I was walking everywhere in Unesco sites, beach and more. Bus station was 5 minutes walk. Also walking at night was safe.
the backyard beyond bungalow was badly maintained and at nights, quite scary to walk. lots of parking dog too, but that is expected everywhere tropical, where stray dogs rule.

Edith é uma ótima anfitriã. Educada e carismatica. Tive que antescipar meu check in e ela se dispôs a ficar com minha mala. Sem contar que da várias dicas de passeios e atrações na cidade. O atelie fica bem proximo ao centro historico, além de ter padaria, mercado e farmacia por perto.
O local fica proximo ao Rio que deixa um pouco mais umido o ambiente, ainda mais quando chove, as roupas demoram mais para secar.
