Perfect get-away

The host Susan was a lovely woman, very helpful with all requests. The house was very cozy, clean and welcoming. The instructions on how to use everything within the house was very clear and easy to understand. The town itself was very tidy, civilised and peaceful.

Everything was 1st class. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and everything you need. The welcome pack was fabulous and very thoughtful. It is located in a beautiful area. Susan and Fergus are a delightful couple.

A modern, convenient and beautiful place to stay, with exceptional hosts, I can’t recommend The Glen highly enough!

The little apartment itself was beautiful in every way - aesthetics, furnishings, decoration, facilities, comfort, warmth etc; it was excellent. it was also very conveniently located for me for visiting family who live in Helensburgh. The most outstanding part of my stay though was the kindness and helpfulness of hosts Susan and Fergus. My hire car developed a flat tyre, and they went over and above in assisting me to deal with this. Their consideration and assistance was very much appreciated.

The property was really clean and the bed is the comfiest one I’ve ever slept in. The host Susan was lovely and always available if you needed her.

Very minor but there is no full length mirror. Unfortunately on our last night the hot water stopped working but it was fine for the rest of the week.

Perfect and comfortable

We have had a lovely stay at The Glen, the accommodation was spotless and extremely comfortable. Susan was the perfect host, extremely helpful before and during our stay. There were lovely little touches such as fruit juice, bread, coffee, eggs etc which actually meant wee didn’t have to do any shopping as we ate out every day. Location is very central and we were able to get to most places we wanted to… pre-booking is essential in these Covid times though as we missed out on Hill House. Helensburgh is a lovely town and we are very well for the 3 nights we stayed… all recommended by Susan prior to our stay so we could book. Fully recommend.

The property was lovely and set in beautiful gardens a short walk from the Macintosh’s Hill-house and Helensburgh town. The family are friendly and helpful but give you privacy and space to enjoy your holiday.

Une étape lors d'un voyage en Ecosse.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et tout était parfait : le logement était aménagé avec beaucoup de goût, parfaitement équipé et d'une très grande propreté (linge de maison, lit, salle de bain). Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Susan est une hôte prévenante, très agréable et pleine d'attention. Le logement se trouve dans une propriété fermée, sécurisée et le stationnement y est aisé. Il est à proximité de nombreuses visites et randonnées mais également de magasins d'alimentation ou restaurants. Très belle étape.
