The Home: This spacious, modern, open plan vacation home offers 4 bedrooms (including the loft space) and 4 baths. The window walls of the living and dining areas bring the spectacular view right into your living space. The living area includes a full featured home theater system with 65" OLED TV, Cable TV service, fast Internet/WiFi service and a several hundred title DVD & Blu-ray library. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry with roll-out lower cabinets for easy access to pots and pans. The cabinets are fully stocked with dishware and utensils to indulge your every cooking whim. The main suite has a California King hybrid mattress with a tow sink private bath, Jacuzzi tub, seated shower, and washer dryer. The lower level living area bedroom has its own private bath , kitchenette, and separate living dining area. The private dock, 2 canoes, and 2 kayaks offer excellent swimming and boating access to Long Pond. 2 private moorings that will moor up to a 20' power boat are included.
The Acadia Region: The home is located centrally on Mount Desert Island within a short drive to all Acadia National Park attractions, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor, and Bass Harbor. The nearby park loop road offers spectacular sight seeing and tourism activities including Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole, Otter Cliffs, and the Jordan Pond House. Local hiking trails offer challenges that range from walking trails to rock climbing. The famous 30+ miles of carriage roads are ideal for walking, biking, or horseback riding. The many island ponds and ocean offer swimming boating, fishing, whale watching, sailing, and other recreational activities. For golfers, there are several local courses to enjoy.
