Great location, great service and great food

The gym was very basic with a lot of broken equipment

This hotel is so beautiful! It is located right on the beach with its own access that makes it feel private. It presents a great breakfast buffet and also in a good location to venture out and eat food outside the hotel. The hotel also has a kids club that our kids loved playing in. However, the best part of the hotel is the staff, they were amazing! In particular, Devin (Front Desk Executive) who helped us out with a family request and consistently checked in on our stay to make sure we were happy during our stay; Salsala from the front desk who seamlessly checked us in and gave us a tour of the facilties and Asanka from the restaurant who accommodated us and was always a friendly face. Every staff member we came across at this hotel was very hospitable and personable. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

The property was an architectural work of art. Vast use of natural stone and timber to build on the original heritage of the fort. Food was exceptional in quality and variety and easily the best of all the lovely food we had in Sri Lanka. All service staff were of the very high standard you would expect in this country. Would highly recommend doing the river cruise for bird and crocodile spotting. Wish we had stayed here longer.

Nothing to dislike about this property. The only thing to be aware of is that the food prices are also considerably higher than at other 5 star hotels in Sri Lanka.

The staff were exceptional

It was supposed to be all inclusive but any excuse to charge where possible!!!
