The staff were warm and hospitable from the moment we arrived, and we absolutely loved our room—it was clean, spacious, and cozy. The food was outstanding, with an extensive buffet that offered a fantastic variety of delicious options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
It would have been appreciated if a late checkout had been possible, as managing our baby’s sleeping and feeding schedule made it difficult to vacate the room by noon. Unfortunately, our request was declined because the hotel was expecting a large group and needed the room ready on time. While we understood the reason, a little flexibility would have made our stay even more comfortable.

The architecture and location are amazing and the service was amongst the best I’ve experienced in Asia. Mina and Soluchana ensured our stay was everything we needed and never forgot when we had requests. The Sri Lankan culture is so friendly and warm and this was five star service combined with the best of Sri Lankan hospitality.

What an absolutely marvellous resort. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully curated, the art and architecture are marvelous. There is a Playzone for kids and continuous stream of activities- much to do at the resort itself. The pools are beautiful. From rooms, to food to staff and just the overall experience. Book it. It will be the best decision of your holiday. Every staff member treats it like it’s their own property- Dhananjay, Mina, Amanda and almost everyone at the Cinnamon Bentota beach - thank you for making our stay such a memorable one.
A few more guided sessions to engage the kids will be amazing
