The house is just as described - extremely well-located, stocked with essentials, and very comfortable for a family of 3. The host even provided a crib free of charge. We stayed 10 days so I really appreciated the washer/dryer - very easy to use and the clothes come out already dry.

Loved the upstairs bedroom and the location and ease of getting around in Kyoto Loved that Patrick met us and explained accommodation and also highlighted things to see and do in Kyoto

Great location in the Gion area, close enough to walk to most of the sights in downtown Kyoto.
Bathroom is quite small and can be challenging for groups larger than 2. Note that the stairs are like a ladder so be aware if you have smaller children.
