Unusual but lovely property within easy walking distance of beautiful little Durbuy village. The owners were so helpful

3 of us stayed for 6 nights while we attended the F1 GP at Spa and found it to have everything we needed with respect to space, comfort, fittings and parking. That it is just a 15 minute walk down to the beautiful little town of Durbuy is another big plus.

By no means the end of the world, but having to provide your own bedding and towels when travelling in a fully loaded car from the UK made it a bit of a squeeze there and back.

Nice stay with the family, creative unexpected place, somewhat like a poppet house.

The ambiance of the house, it was very special, never stayed in such an accommodation like this. We liked it, stuffed with small area's and surprises. The price is quit low, and therefore you can't ask for the perfect and most luxurious house. Apart from that, the house is so very well equipped with non food and food groceries: coffee pads, herbs, cloths to clean, soap, toilet paper, etc. The house in general, was clean. Could of course be more clean, but it was fine. The beds were good for my taste, I slept very well. During the evening when it was raining, we spend watching movie from the huge collection that is available. Also WIFI is available, perfect. The lockbox for the key was super. Also when the owner would come over to check something when we were not there. The location is very nice. Quiet little block with just a few houses. Perfect starting point for durbuy on a walking distance of 2km. Also some nice hikes and trails are close by. Owner reacts fast in case of questions and problems. A lot of information is available regarding the activities in the area. One night we had to use the heaters, the house is warm and comfi quit quickly, so that was enjoyable. And finally, the basement, that was so cute and unexpected.

For the price, of course you know what to expect. The corridors are small, but so cozy and adventurous. I liked it. However some things that we weren't really satisfied with were: - the shower upstairs was leaking, there was a leak in the drain, resulting in flooding the bathroom. Owner checked it out, tried to do a repair, but it was still leaking afterwards. We had to shower in the small bath downstairs which is good for children but not tall adults from Holland. - the toilet behind the cooking area is every tiny, with longer legs, you could not sit comfortable. My knees were again the heater. - the neighbors had several dogs, which they kept in the front yard. They would bark a lot, which was annoying, poo was smelling terribly. Also they were released and walked around our small garden.

Comfortable, relaxing stay! Definitely good price deal!

- The house is very cosy, the pictures doesn't do justice to how it really looks. The house is really beautiful, inside and outside. - Little but cute garden in front of the house and balcony - The beds do have a good quality - Environment - BBQ set - Everything you need in the kitchen for a comfortable stay. I've read on the reviews before that there were some complains about not having a microwave but we've noticed there is a microwave in the kitchen now. - Price/quality : very good deal!

- The several lists for how to clean the house are feeling like a checklist for a cleaning company. But I get it, the house is really beautiful and well maintained so I understand the owner wants the house to be left clean as not all travellers probably have the respect to do so.

Top huisje.

Goede communicatie via chat, proper en gezellig huisje, genoeg voorziening v huishouden, goed bed, correcte afhandeling v d waarborg, koffie voorziening, rustige omgeving en 2 km v h centrum durbuy. Volgend jaar komen we terug.

Kleine badkamer, handdoeken/lakens tegen betaling. Misschien al wat verwarming aansteken, was heel koud bij incheck.

Idéal pour un séjour en famille dans la région

Jolie petite maison à 5 minutes de Durbuy, idéalement située pour nos visites dans la région (Dinant, Namur, Luxembourg). La maison est grande, avec ce qu'il faut (cuisine, douche, salon, 2 chambres, terrasse et emplacement pour se garer). L'endroit est particulièrement calme et reposant. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Parfait pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, nous recommandons!

Pour la personne dormant dans le salon, il aurait été appréciable d'avoir un store au velux et des rideaux pour la fenêtre de la cuisine.

Ideaal voor kort verblijf

Prijs kwaliteit is correct , rustige Locatie ...fijn dat het dicht bij het centrum is . En alles is aanwezig in het huisje , maar wij nemen zoals gewoonlijk wel ons eigen spullen mee ... zoals een contact grill , waterkoker , ons eigen bestek , borden en tassen ...maar alles is er voor handen. Leuk Harry Potter kamertje (dochter durfde er wel niet te slapen dus m'n vriend moest er slapen ) was verder een fijn verblijf

Wij verbleven er maar 2 nachten , bedden zijn niet super comfortabel ... maar voor korte verblijven is dat ok ...

teleurstellend

Het huisje stond beschreven als een apart huis. Dit is voor ons ook nodig omdat we een zoontje van 3 jaar hebben. Bij aankomst bleek dat dit een gedeelde woning was. We hoorden elk woord van de mensen onder ons. Er was geen privacy. De tuin van de mensen onder ons keek uit op ons terrasje. Erg ongemakkelijk. De mooie perenboom blijkt daar ook helemaal niet meer te staan, waardoor het bloedheet was in het appartement. Bij binnenkomst is het eerste wat je te zien krijgt allerhande regels die gevolgd moeten worden en instructies om het te kuisen. We voelden ons niet bepaald welkom zo. De douche was ronduit erbarmelijk. Zeer slechte hygiëne en geen comfort. Zeker geen aanrader.

Un endroit cosy, mais on paie pour faire le ménage soi-même

Espace petit mais bien organisé, et décoré avec soins comme si l'on venait chez l'habitant. Code d’entrée reçu via sms le jour de l’arrivée facile

Mais une fois dedans quel étonnement quand je vois qu’il faut tout tout tout nettoyer Dans la chambre les espèces nuit il faut défaire les lits, refaire avec vos draps ( qui vous sont demandé) et une fois la nuit passé vous devez défaire vos draps et remettre les anciens à l’identique dans toutes les pièces on doit faire : la vaisselle, passer l’aspirateur ( sous le lit aussi), les poussières, laver le frigo, nettoyer la douche les wc, miroirs etc Et si cela n’est pas effectué il vous retire 60€ d’une caution de 100€ demander Je peux comprendre et concevoir qu'il faille gérer l'espace en bon père de famille mais nous ne sommes pas là pour faire le ménage chez quelqu'un d'autre. Il me semble que cela doit faire partie du service lorsque l'on réserver une location et dans notre cas pour une nuit c'est vraiment exagéré D'autant plus quand l'on s’aperçoit qu’il n’y fait pas propre ou sol.

Nous étions quatres adultes dans ce gîte qui au niveau de l'aspect pratique et de l'intimité n'est pas des mieux conçu

Super moment entre hommes

Beau petit gîte bien équipé et situé dans un beau petit village, à un jet de pierres de Durbuy.

Juste mettre une protection dans l'entrée au dessus, car plusieurs se sont cognés en entrant.

Les escaliers dans la maison sont un peu raides et l 'emplacement de la maison un peu isolé au point de vue des services .

Teleurgesteld

De locatie . En alles is aanwezig

Slechte bedden, honden haar in de jongens hun bed . Per ongeluk een blik en drank karton laten staan en de jongens hun kauwgom achter het bed gegooid (was wel uiteraard heel vies ) hier voor €60 poets aangerekend . We waren al paar keer geweest en vonden het zeker oké voor deze prijs , maar alles moet piek fijn liggen of je moet €60 kuis betalen. Dat vind ik echt heel overdreven en dan is de prijs echt teveel !
