This is a very good location, a few minutes walk from bus and train stations and less than 10 mins walk to the centre of the old city. The apartment itself is in a residential building, on the first floor. It is nicely furnished, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We spent a month there with the intention of using Jerez as a base to explore Andalusia using public transport. It has been a very wet and stormy winter in southern Spain which had us modify our plans to some extent. It was a bonus to have such a nice apartment to enjoy when the weather didn't oblige. Jerez itself is a very attractive city, not overly touristic (in winter) and within easy reach of many places of interest by rail or bus. Apart from historic buildings, horses and bodegas, it has a theatre which we enjoyed on several occasions. I think the space is ideal for two people but will accommodate four at a pinch. This is to do with the fact that the living room can be used for sleeping and the bathroom is accessed through a dressing room attached to the bedroom. The dining table is also very small.

While tolerable, there was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom. To deal with this, I left the extractor fan running. I think this may be a problem in some of the older buildings in Spain as I noted the same issue elsewhere.

Hemos tenido ruidos con los vecinos hasta la madrugada y era imposible dormir. Tuvimos una avería en la luz, perdimos todo lo que teníamos en la nevera, dulces que nos queríamos traer a casa y todo. Tuvimos que perder bastante tiempo, además de tener que pagarnos una cena y un desayuno, tirar sin internet, televisión lavadora, lavavajillas, etc. La propiedad con total amabilidad se ofreció a pagarnos el desayuno una vez lo habíamos tomado, pero desde nuestro punto de vista esos 10 euros no compensan la molestia causada.
