Lovely stay

The staff were kind and attentive. The room was cleaned daily. The surroundings were quiet and other guests were respectful of noise after hours. The garden is lovely. The room and bathroom were spacious, the shower was hot with good water pressure.

Nothing. If you want to take Grab or Gojek you may need to provide added instructions so they can come to the entrance versus meeting them at the main road. Nothing to do with the property, just a heads up for those who stay here.

Quiet, away from street noise but accessible. Close to the beach and still close to Berawa and other Canggu hotspots

The rooms had no windows that could open, so airflow was low. The bathroom was not as clean as I would prefer, but acceptable.

Close to Nelayan beach. Room was big, outdoor bathroom was a nice touch.

Cockroach in my room! Their shared kitchen was also dirty, the fridge looked like it hadn’t been clean in months, the bin was overflowing and not emptied every day.

Great experience for a few night stay.

It is a lovely guesthouse, have been staying here on and off over the past 3 years. The facilities a good, you get exactly what you paid for. If you are looking for a place to sleep, shower and just chill after your surf…this is the one. 2 minutes walk to the beach, plenty of great and healthy restaurants around. You can’t be placed better than this.

The properties location is perfect, especially if you want privacy and some solo time. Certain rooms get certain light so if you’re sensitive to morning light versus evening, or no light at all, I’d make this clear. The property houses a kitchenette with a fridge and stove which is perfect for long time stays and evening tea. The AC works really well and the shower was nice and hot. It’s 3 minutes from the beach and surrounded by yoga (right next door) and a 24 hours restaurant (which was perfect when arriving in the middle of the night). The owners are responsive on WhatsApp and when my door randomly broke, they immediately came to fix it and then noticed the lock was difficult so they replaced the whole thing as soon as the stores were open. I noticed they were super responsive to maintenance and cleaned rooms between guests- moving the bed, painting if needed. That type of home is essential in properties so it was nice to see that type of appreciation for their property. They cleaned every single day, and you can request that they do or don’t clean. Outside was maintained really well and it felt quite safe as there seemed to be many long term guests and solo travelers. The bed was comfy enough and there is a cupboard for your belongings along with a desk. The bathroom is well illuminated by sunshine and there is a shataff that works really well. They have black out curtains and sheet curtains for day and night which is nice. Additionally, there is a bedside lamp that is super useful and makes it cozy at night.

I think small upgrades could be beneficial in the long term such as new toilet seats (mine was, painted?) but others were not. I’d recommend to be sure to clean the trash cans between guests, this can easily be overseen. I would suggest in the future to have a chain lock or an indoor key lock for extra security and feeling even more safe.

For that kind of money, it's a very good guest house, the most important thing is the proximity to the ocean.

Everything is great, the ocean, the store and the road are very close. The room is generally good for the money, but the toilet is poorly ventilated, which is why everything there is moldy and smells. The dishes in the kitchen need to be changed.

Good stay, hopefully the construction next door will be over soon

Clean, cool aircond, fairly close to the beach. Fair price. Place is quite secluded so you won’t hear any traffic. The kitchen has your basic needs including water refill. Just note that you won’t be able to check out if there are no employees around, tell the host beforehand.

This is not the accomodation’s fault, as Bali seems to be going through a lot of construction everywhere, this one is no exception, if you go out during the day it wouldn’t be a problem though, although the construction materials next door were flapping around, and it was kinda noisy during the night if there are strong winds

The staff were kind & polite, and the area is fantastic for exploring Canggu & the nearby beach.

In reality, this is a budget accomodation for the area, so you are getting what you pay for, but in saying that: the WiFi was terrible, the room was passable but very basic, empty, and old feeling. Kitchen under-equipped, and no other amenities.

Lovely guesthouse

Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful little garden. The rooms were clean with a wardrobe and dressing table and the outside bathroom was clean too. The rooms were cleaned every day. There was a kitchen and free water refills. Definitely can’t complain for the price.

it’s simple but good for this value of money , stuff is very nice , cleaning room fault . I only stayed few days but it was worth for this price . walking distance to the beach onto few minutes - next door is a nice place to eat vegan breakfast and do yoga :)

Very price worthy

Wi-Fi was really good. Location is hard to beat, so close (2 minutes) to the beach, restaurants and centre but far enough not to be bothered by any noise. Price very good and rooms clean and spacious. AC worked without any problems the entire stay, we never heard any noise from the other rooms so they seem pretty isolated. They cleaned our room every single day. Staff and owner helpful and very polite, it’s convenient that they have their own store that’s right by the guesthouse. The little garden outside is very pretty and they maintain it everyday. Overall we are always very satisfied with our stays at Purnama Guesthouse!

Housekeeping staff

Many things, especially the cleanliness and manager/owner behaviour. The worst room with flies/mosquitoes was given for the 1st night. Then the room was changed. The manager is rude both with the guests and staff. I do not recommend this place.
