I felt like home at Ibis and I would definitely go again.
The room were quite clean and spacious and beautiful. The staff were also warm and welcome. There was a staff at reception, I think her name was Evelyn, she was respectful, patient and very attentive. She was ready to help anytime asked and was mostly already on her feet when a client approached her desk. The breakfast was solid too. Good and decent food options. And hot too.

Comfy hotel in the downtown St Germain en Laye
+ Comfortable room + Comfortable bed + Well located 5-10 min by foot from RER
- Not much to complain about a part from the fact our room was a bit dull as window gave more or less on the wall in front. But as we were there for only one night, it was not a big deal

Did not enjoy my stay at all, out of pocket as had to pay for night in another hotel. Budget Hotel
Staff were lovely, location of hotel
Bed was awful. I paid for a 3 night stay but only stayed 2 nights, and had to make different arrangements for 3rd night as the mattress was awful. I could feel the bars of the base through the mattress and then next day ended up with a very painful back. For me it is imperative that I get my nights sleep, as I cannot function the next day without one. Room 103 needs new mattress. The staff did offer me a change of room on the third day but at that stage I had made other arrangements. Also for those of us who are not fluent in French it would be helpful if there was instructions in English, would have made life a little easier. Sorry but I would not recommend this hotel, Staff were the only good thing about my stay. Also my view was of a wall
