A Home away from home .

The apartment was absolute lovely ,decorated with love and very comfortable , it had everything we needed and the hosts were always available should we need anything . We got lots of lovely tips and our hosts were lovely . Thank you so much we are looking forward to staying there next time .

Quiet get away in Simons Town

Amazing views of the ocean. The bed was amazingly comfortable and I could hear the ocean waves from my room. The room was clean and property felt safe. I stayed here specifically to be close to Boulder’s beach and see the penguins- they were only a few minutes was down a gentle hill. We took a tour of Cape of Good Hope with Anne Marie whom was recommended by our host. We also enjoyed doing a kelp forest snorkel just a few minutes away as well.

I didn’t mind, but others should be aware my lovely room was up a good flight of stairs.

Fantastic views…

Fantastic sea views and we were thrilled to be able to see the penguins on the beach with our binoculars, right from our balcony. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. A stones throw from the seafront and Boulders.

Magical!

Exceptional :-) Heather allowed us to drop our luggage off early allowing us another full day in this spectacular location. Being 'local' to the penguins, and being able to do early morning and evening walks along the boardwalk was a magical experience. The honeymoon suite was everything we hoped - well equipped, spacious, comfortable, but the balcony with penguin views and full length windows allowing uninterrupted side to side views topped our stay off. Heather also recommended a local guide (Anna-Marie) who we pre-booked and then spent an incredible day with on a custom guided tour around the cape and beyond. A truly magical stay. Thanks to Heather & Anna-Marie.

A relaxing holiday with so much to do! In an amazingly beautiful apartment.

Nothing to dislike, great position to see the penguins which was why we were in Simon's Town, but the Baboons wander the town on an evening great fun. Beautiful apartment with the most amazing view across the bay, a way out of town so we had to drive in but found a shopping area a short way out of town, stocked up and spent most evenings on the balcony just admiring the views. We were minutes from the boardwalk and there are more penguins there than the viewing area with the droves of tourists. An easy drive down to the cape of good hope where you can see Ostriches.

Top location in Simons Town / Boulder Beach

Excellent location to view and visit the Pinguins as well as closeby Simon’s Town . Great hideaway and the rooms are perfectly equipped and maintained . Plus the balcony with Ocean view is among the best . Very quiet location to relax and enjoy the scenery at Boulder.

Blissful spot to relax and enjoy the natural world of the Cape

Just a short walk from Boulders Beach this beautifully appointed guest house, with its own parking, was an absolute haven. With magnificent views of the coast, and of course the penguins it was the perfect place to relax. Towels were provided for the beach/pool which was helpful. Communication was great including help finding great people to organise snorkelling trips. The room had all you needed to cook meals and there was a Braii (BBQ) on the deck too, although we used their recommended local driver Shepherd, who was wonderful, to take us the very short drive into Simon’s Town for the harbour side restaurants in the evenings.

Best hidden gem of a place to stay

This was one of the most incredible places we stayed on our journey. The location was amazing. Being able to watch the penguins from the seat or watching whales swim from the window while we had our breakfast was just magical. Was just a amazing place to stay, all the cookware was like a little home from home. When we come back 100% be back

Lovely comfortable flat with view of sea and in easy reach of the beach/penguin sightings.

Nice two bed cottage with lovely terrace with sea view and well maintained little garden. Easy walk to Boulders Beach, Windmill Beach and the boardwalk to the viewing platform. Great to have access to the pool too! Quiet, didn't often see or hear other guests staying. Sheltered from the wind - a plus when we were there.

We found the cupboards in the kitchen are installed high - being a short family, we struggled to reach things.

Great stay above Boulder Beach

Lovely stay, friendly hosts and enviable views. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Simon's town and used Penguin's view as a base to visit Cape Point, golf at near by Clovelly and the penguins. Lots of personal touches made this a special stay.

Cozy apartment in Boulders Beach

Very nice room. Super clean and well decorated. It had Netflix, which is a plus for us. The host was nice and gave us some good information for our stay. You can walk in 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the penguins reserve.

The view is nice, but you can’t really see the penguins. They are quite far away and on the side. If you stretch your head you can see something, but I wouldn’t say you can see the penguins from there comfortably.

A blissful stay surrounded by charm—and penguins!

I wish I could give an even higher rating! There was comfortable seating for us to look through the grand windows onto the sea and mountains. To our left the view was of the delightful penguins. What a treat! Our hosts were sure to ask if there was anything we needed, but it had everything! A Nespresso machine, refrigerator, comfy chairs and beds and have I mentioned the view? We walked down the hill to access the trail to the penguin colony and met fluffy Dassies (bonus!). There was a stunning beach before you reach the penguins if you wanted to swim. It was winter, but the water was surprisingly warm. We walked into town to visit the cute shops and restaurants. We also went on a very successful whale watching trip—eight playful humpbacks 🐋. Baboons come down from the mountains in late afternoon while the penguins wander up. This trip was far more than I had hoped for and I highly recommend a stay a Penguins View Guest house In Simon’s Town ♥️

Exceptional

The location was amazing, just a short walk down the hill to the boardwalk along the penguing beach (lots of penguins still there in June). Even though it was cold and rainy when we were there , the views over the water from the house were amazing when the clouds lifted. There were a few very good restaurants in town just a few minutes drive. Hosts were present on-site and extremely helpful (even passing us a down a tambourine to scare away the baboons hanging out nearby!). House is about a 45 minute pleasant drive from the CPT airport (we were coming off a 15 hour flight from the US and didn't have trouble finding our way there). Also convenient for driving down to the Cape of Good Hope. We stayed in 2 rooms, perfect for our family of 6 (4 adult/nearly adult kids). All in all, a great base for a visit to Cape Town.

very noisy room facing main road - view of the mountains was spoilt by noise of cars from very early in the morning - Based on the pictures and descriptions I expected a lot more than the room I ended up with.
