Was a really great stay. Laura met me on arrival to hand over the keys. House is so spacious and clean. Lots of plates and glasses. Loved having the big doors throughout most of the property, really good holiday.

A bigger kitchen bin would be ideal and also a how to on how a few of the things work.

The house is very large, fully equipped and modern, with a good-sized pool. It's a 5 minute drive to Black River beach, and about the same to local shops. There is an open patio on the roof, with clear views of the Tamarin River estuary and Tamarin Bay.

The Covid restrictions in Mauritius were still rigorously implemented, with sensitization and temperature checks on entry to shops and vaccinations certificates necessary for entry into restaurants.

The house is really big and spatious and offers many amenities.

I would give the house a 9.5 if it wasn't for 3 things: - mosquitoes: sleeping wasn't a nice experience since the house had many mosquitoes. If there would be mosquito nets in beds or mosquito nets in the windows/balcony doors we wouldn't have this issue. Instead, we had to keep doors and windows closed all time but still plenty of mosquitoes. - bathrooms were not well cleaned and we had to clean them ourselves - (minor) some basic things were missing like garbage bins, hangers for towels in bathrooms.
