Location, staff, breakfast.
For me, the bed was too hard. This was true most places we stayed in the Azores…

We stayed for four nights. House was bigger than expected from the pictures. We stayed in the one bedroom with green kitchen. The staff was incredibly friendly and put a smile on our faces. The location was excellent and the atmosphere was great. House super clean with attention to detail such as fresh hortensias and lots of candles. They provided some bread, jam and butter as well as cookies, fresh fruit and drinks as a welcome gift, which was so nice. Breakfast super delicious and a different (amazing!) cake every day. Would definitely stay again!
The couch was not really comfortable and there was no option to make coffee in the kitchen, just tea. Only two points the rest was great.

Separate cottage with covered porch. Well stocked. Comfortable.
A little expensive. Not much in town (restaurants, etc). Would stay in Mosteiros next time.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast provided was amazing.
