Very lovely place, Michael is a great host , in the apartament you can find anything you need for your stay , very rare and very clean . We will return for sure🫡

The location is amazing, there is a supermarket nearby and the center of albufeira itself is reachable within walking distance. The flat was very clean and we had a lot of space. The kitchen has everything we needed. The balkony is great for breakfast and provides an overview of the city and the sea. We would definitely book the flat again

We loved how pretty the apartment is, tastefully and simply decorated, full of light and very comfortable to be in. The balcony with its stunning 3rd-floor view (for Americans: 4th floor) is a huge bonus! We even got to enjoy a short thunderstorm during our visit, which was stunning to watch from the balcony (and blew itself out before getting to us). All the furniture is well-chosen, and as others have noted the kitchen is very well equipped. The only things that might be added wouild be a liquid measuring cup, and a couple more bowls for the table (there is a generous supply of plates, but only 2 bowls, which was fine for our short stay with 2 people, but might be inconvenient for a family). Communication with the host was always easy and helpful. We stayed only 3 nights, but wished we'd decided to leave more time for a holiday. We were in town for a medical procedure at the Hospital Lusíadas a short walk away, so the location was just what we needed. Having the Intermarché market so close was also a bonus. My wife is a bird-watcher, so we got a Bolt ride to the Lagoa dos Salgados between Albufeira and Silves, which was *wonderful*: a boardwalk by the water and through the scrub, but just steps from the beautiful Praia Grande (beach)! We didn't end up getting to explore the many excellent restaurants available within walking distance of the apartment.

Beyond the host's control: The building door locks on the ground floor are worn, and getting in can take some creative key-wiggling. We saw residents struggling with their keys, too, so it wasn't just us as visitors! Also just something to note if you are "scents-itive": there was an electric air freshener plugged into the outlet in the entry-way. My wife is allergic to most perfumes and scents (they trigger asthma), so we had to find it and air out the apartment (which was easy with all the windows and the windy day). My apologies to the host: we unplugged the air freshener and put it on the balcony, but forgot to put it back when we checked out!
