Villa Calipso

It was amazing facilities for our group holiday, the location was a very nice clean and tidy residential area the only downside to this was for younger groups for noise but we didn’t find it an issue. The facilities were amazing the pool was a great size with good depth and plenty of sun-loungers and sofas to accommodate all of us. The outdoor table and bbq was good for a chill night in and evening round the pool. There was plenty of indoor lounging space with sofas, table and an indoor bar. The bedrooms were great sizes two en suite and the two middle floor rooms shared a bathroom. The balconies were great sizes with plenty of seating and got the sun all times of day and great sunset photo opportunities in the evening. The gate was very secure and the key,lock outside was especially handy when some of us went out and we came home at different times. It around a 30 min walk to the old town and around 40/45 to new town however ubers/bolts were super cheap so we used those to save time. Getting to and from the towns for a night out couldn’t have been easier with them being around a 5 minute drive. The host was very helpful and accommodated all of our needs very quickly.

Our stay was everything we wished for and more . our host Carlos was so friendly and helpful . We were delayed a lot in passport control in faro airport so arrived a lot later than planned , Carlos was there to meet us and show us around and even provided some supplies for us to get settled in , he also dropped us and out luggage into town on the day we we were coming home . the villa itself was beautiful and spacious and very clean , the pool is beautiful and was perfect for our kids . we had 4 floors and had two small children and two teenagers with us so it was ideal for our family . The villa is in a quiet road which was perfect for us . we could get taxis and uber eats very easily which was perfect for our trip . there is balconies on the upper floors with beautiful views in the morning and at night . there is a fab eating area outside too and we were absolutely blessed with fab weather , you wouldn't need to leave the villa at all .

Lovely big house & pool

Nothing left to use in the house, considering it had a kitchen. No basics left for use to use, as you might expect. Salt & pepper, washing machine tablets, no welcome pack other than bottle of wine. If you are only staying a week, it’s a shame we had to go out and purchase these basics. No proper glasses, limited cooking equipment.
