Ariya Tissa

The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and always had a smile on his face from the moment we arrived. He welcomed us with a refreshing juice and arranged our safari tour for the following day, as well as our transportation to Mirissa, making everything completely hassle-free. One evening, we were looking for a restaurant to grab a quick snack, and even though the kitchen had already closed, he kindly offered to cook for us. That level of hospitality really made our stay special. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shower pressure was also the best we experienced during our two-week trip around Sri Lanka! Thank you for everything. We truly appreciated your kindness and hospitality, and we would happily stay here again.

The husband and wife team were absolutely fantastic. They cooked a wonderful traditional Sri Lankan dinner feast for 4 of us that I won’t forget for a while. They also arranged our trip to Yala National park. Very competitive pricing. Ariya Tissa was a good base for our short stay in Tisssa.

The property is a little way out of town with no amenities close by. Rooms were clean but lacked character. A little hard to find so make sure your driver knows where to go.
