Lovely stay for a weekend, location was perfect for travelling to different areas of Cornwall.

Another fabulous stay.

It’s so cosy and well laid out. It has everything you need. It’s so nice and quiet as well. We stayed here 4 years ago and it’s still the same which we loved. The grounds are stunning and great to walk the dog round. It’s not far from st ives and you can get on the main road within a few minutes ! We can’t wait to come back again.

Enjoyed our stay but bed and sofa very uncomfortable

Very good value for money. Good location close enough to St Ives. Kitchen well equipped. Clean. Parking with EV charging if you have an electric car.

Mattress was very uncomfortable. We struggled to get a good nights sleep. Same with the sofa, which meant we couldn’t really relax in the evenings.

Really fabulous and spotlessly clean

This is a fantastic property with beautiful gardens and super friendly hosts. The accommodation is tastefully decorated with everything you need. The grounds are amazing and we loved swimming in the outdoor pool. It is genuinely dog friendly with a lovely little doggy assault course in the vast gardens. It really was a lovely place to stay.

Relaxing holiday in tranquil countryside

A character former stables converted to holiday cottages, well fitted with modern equipment. Situated in a quiet countryside location with walking paths, Tehidy Country park and seaside beaches all close by. There is dedicated parking with electric charging facilities. The grounds are spacious and well kept. An ideal place to relax in tranquil surroundings.

The perfect location for a couples get away, hosts set up everything needed to know what's round the area, best places to go, where to eat and things to do, very comfortable bed and luxury bath tub in the room to make your stay extra special, such a peaceful place to stay definitely recommended! Dogs welcome too is a plus 🐕

Exceptional

We had the best stay at river red stables. The cottage was so clean and modern, perfect for a relaxing break away. The grounds of the house- wow! We could use everything as our own, and we made full use of the pool, the decking and the ponds where we had a wild swim, bottle of fizz and celebrated a year to go until our wedding. The property was also very dog friendly and put up with our boisterous 2 year old lab Margot, who had the time of her life playing with Monty and exploring the grounds. Thank you for such a relaxing and welcoming stay!

Beautiful place, we absolutely loved our stay! We will definitely be returning if we visit the area again! Really handy location to drive to lots of places close by, the owner, Nicola, was super friendly and helpful and the grounds were stunning!

Beautiful place to stay, would highly recommend!!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay, would highly recommend and hopefully will get to come back next year. This was our first time visiting Cornwall and we could not fault Red River Stables, we found that the location is very central and really easy to get to towns/beaches near by. The swimming pool and gardens are lovely to sit around and relax/read a good book, the chickens were super cute too!

Excellent place to stay, handy base for touring

Fantastic accommodation is wonderful grounds. The accommodation had everything you could possibly need, great grounds to walk the dog in, a pond the dog could swim in and a great pool for the humans. The owner was really friendly and helpful and will definitely stay again on our next trip to Cornwall

perfect location, quiet, welcoming- it exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend.

the accommodation was a converted stable on two floors, characterful, spacious, well equipped and clean and comfy. there was a sunny spot to enjoy our welcome glass of sherry and a sunny breakfast table for two in the pretty courtyard. The large grounds belonging to the owners were open to us so we enjoyed the various seating areas to see the ponds, wildlife and beautiful scenery. There was even a dog agility course which our dog loved!

The location was very beautiful,our accommodation was truly wonderful. The grounds including the gardens and the tree house was very relaxing to walk around and to relax. Couldn't ask for a better place to have our little holiday.

Only negative point I can find was the pool.not being open but we got told it was closed for maintenance before went but it didn't make any negative factor towards our stay

Outstanding visit, as expected by the reviews. We had a lovely time, our dog loved the beautiful grounds for his morning run. The cottages are beautiful and well equipped with everything you need. Camborne is a great place to get to anywhere in West Cornwall. Definitely worth visiting the beaches around Hayle on low tide. Amazing!! Would highly recommend.

The room was excellent with a super comfy bed and plenty of ways to warm the place up. The grounds were fantastic, especially for our pooch. She didn't want to go home! We were made very welcome by the host.

The relaxation I needed in beautiful surroundings.

Juniper’s stable is beautifully decorated and has some really lovely features. The bed was comfortable. It has a bath and shower. We loved the log fire and that everything we needed to use it was provided. It was great that you could collect eggs from the chickens if you wished for breakfast. Sherry on arrival was a lovely touch. There was a book which included helpful ideas on things to do and places to visit.

The hob was really quite tricky to get working and maybe I missed it but I didn’t know that the pool was out of use or having work completed so you couldn’t really just go and sit by it either. I suppose though, winter is the perfect time to get any work done so that’s understandable. The accommodation made up for it completely though and we can’t wait to go again hopefully in the summer. We have already recommended this stay to our family and friends!

So good we came back again and will return again. We love the place that is ideally located for us to visit friends and enjoy beautiful walks along the North Cornish coast. That our dogs are made so welcome is the icing on the cake. Thank you for yet another lovely stay.

Nice and a little noisy

The location was very good to travel to the main sights in Cornwall - very central. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

There were building works for our last 2 days which we were not made aware of. It put a downer on our trip when we came for peace and quiet.

An amazing place so lovely we have already booked to stay again!

Quite the most amazing place, with the cleanest apartments and facilities of anywhere I/we have ever stayed. Kerry the owner couldn’t be more friendly/lovely and you are made to feel more than welcome to use and enjoy the beautiful grounds and swimming pool. That the dogs are made to feel equally welcome was a massive bonus. We loved the place so much we have already booked up to stay again, and I cannot begin to recommend the place more.

Heaven in Cornwall

I’ve never seen a place like this before. The photos do not do this property justice. Absolutely gorgeous and the grounds are breath taking. We will be returning here as soon as we can.
