Disappointing….

Location was good for what we required during our stay.

There was a Lack of consideration for what someone might require for staying for a week or more, utensils are of extremely poor quality and not sharp, no cleaning products to help keep place tidy and a lack of items you would normally get in even a cheaper B&B. No hair dryer, no iron ( but there was a board) , there was a bucket but no mop. All this adds up when you are paying for a stay. Nothing in the description about being attached to the house, there is no control for the heating. Pictures on the advert are dated compared to condition of the property. There is also a hole in the flooring on the veranda of which you have to walk over to get to the door which someone could easily go through if not aware.

We enjoyed Station Masters itself and as a central location for exploring west Cornwall

The location is great if you have a vehicle. It was comfortable private with adequate space for two people and a good kitchen.

Condition of property needed some TLC, it was generally a little grubby and needed some work outside as decking/handrail felt unsafe

Really nice place close to most places in South Cornwall

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge, cozy atmosphere and Ian and Keran are adorable hosts and really lovely people, they gave us many recommendations and were always available. The Lodge was clean and had mostly everything one might need (and if not you can always ask). We slept well and loved the garden views. We felt that the accommodation was really good value and can definitely recommend staying there.

The Internet connection was not good and we didn't manage to use smart tv because of problems with connectivity. I read in previous reviews that people had the same problem. Also, we didn't manage to make the heater work in the bathroom, so it was a bit chilly. However, i am sure we could have asked the hosts for some help, which we didn't. Don't get us wrong: the overall experience was still great!

Just a perfect gettaway in the heart of one of our favourite parts of Cornwall

Lovely property attached to the side of the owners house. Just perfect for myself and my husband and super quiet. Right next to the railroad tracks as the name suggests but if you are inside you can’t hear anything of them so really was lovely and quiet and peaceful.

Just that we had to leave it and come back to life as we know it

Great base and lovely wee lodge.

Fab location from which to base your exploration of Cornwall. Enjoyed seeing the trains and our excellent host, Ian, changed the flags everyday. It became a wee challenge to work them out. Sitting out in the garden in the evening was a pleasure. Relaxing and chilling. Had a fab time.

Ideal location, lovely lodge had everything we needed for our stay. Both Ian & Keran were lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable. The Warwickshire bear flag was a lovely touch 😀

A comfortable property in a nice location with lovely hosts.

The location was good - rural but within easy reach of town and the hosts were very friendly & helpful. The property was comfortable and had what I needed for the few days I was there.

lovely idea. Not great position for walkers. we made it work for us by driving to coast & walking. glad it was a sho

the idea of the place. the outside space to sit in good weather. however, very tired, in need of a lot of Love & attention. weeds growing across decking. plants taking over the area, blocking any light of sunshine & view. size not too big, cosy.

The place was dirty. dead flies in longs and bedroom, obviously not been hoovered or swept before letting. plants/weeds over grown not kept nice. damp smell in bathroom & bedroom. can opener did not work. owner replaced with a dirty old one. tea towels still attached to each other therefore not pre washed. towels looked liked the owners throw outs. Dining table unstable. chest of drawers broken could not use 2. drawers. whole place needs cleaning & decorating. old & tired. more photos to add!!

The garden facilities for the dog were excellent. The hosts were very welcoming and pleasant. The flag displays were a nice addition. Good location for visiting the south tip of Cornwall.

Very limited Wi-Fi available, had to used my personal hot spot data allowance. Trains passing at 0500 woke the dog up each morning. Misleading information on the Booking.com information states £5 per dog per stay and not per Day! Property could do with a bit of TLC!

We felt at home immediately and could make it the center of our explorations.

Our hosts were super friendly and very helpful, we were even greeted with our national flag flying in the garden, that was so sweet. There was milk, coffee, salt and pepper in the kitchen and a chocolate on our pillows. It couldn't be nicer. There is a nice view from the patio onto the garden and the evening sky. It is near a wonderful beach.

The bed was comfy but a little bit too narrow.

A nice base to stay in rural Cornwall

This was a self catering one bed annex on the side of the old station building. There was a separate kitchen with oven, fridge and microwave and a sitting room / dining area. The sitting room and bedroom had a view of the Cornwall countryside and local railway line. There are trains every half an hour to and from Penzance but they weren't particularly noisy or intrusive during our stay. The train drivers will sound the horn and wave if they see you in the garden. Our hosts were brilliant and made us welcome and gave us lots of useful information on the local area. A nice touch was a pint of fresh milk in the fridge and tea making facilities after a long drive. The host works on site and makes a point of hoisting flags appropriate to a news event or your home county most days. There are supermarkets in nearby Camborne, Wetherspoons or restaurants if you don't want to cook.

Absolutely beautiful little place.Very clean and comfy.It was very well equipped even down to washing up liquid.There are trains passing but they are relatively quiet.The owners were very friendly.Anyone with dogs I can highly recommend this holiday let.We will definitely be returning.

Location was fantastic for touring southern Cornwall , The dog loved the big garden to run around the views also were breath taking ,
