We enjoyed our 1 night in the French country side.

The owners are very friendly but discreet people. The b en b is a humble country house of the priest, full of antiques , nothing fancy but very personal and with very nice owners that run it.

This was an unexpected gem on an overnight stop. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with the owner.

This was a very special place: in appearance as if you had arrived back in the nineteenth century ! Yet the facilities were actually up to date, 21st century. Our room was spacious, dust free and the beds very comfortable. Rather than the ghosts that we first half expected due to the decor, we found peaceful rest (the chapel bells stop ringing at 23:00 in case anyone would be bothered by them). The owners were most attent and helpful and interested in sharing the history of the place with us.

Charming location, fantastic hosts!

Very friendly hosts, charming location. Family suite has two separate bedrooms and private bathroom with tub. Air conditioning is a big plus, being in the upstairs room in the summer! We arrived on the later side, hosts helped us to find a pizzeria nearby, highly recommend them as well!

The church bells across the street start ringing at 6 AM. Not the hosts' fault, but I hadn't planned on waking up that early. We shared a sofa bed as it was the biggest, it wasn't the most comfortable. Kids slept great on the mattresses. We noticed a slight musty smell in one of the rooms.

terrible bed, lots of creaking doors well into the night

When I arrived, there was nobody at the house. later when they arrived I could not go to the room although it should have been ready by 5 pm. so I was made to wait in the garden in the heat

Charming but overpriced

Very charming place with a lot of history, but that should be the main reason for you visit. The room is heated by a very nice antique stove . It was also pre heated by the host. Safe and private parking. The host is warm and welcoming!

The furniture is old, in essence not a problem at all. We love it. However it was not in such a good shape, wobbly table, not such a comfortable bed. The room wasn’t dirty, however around the lamp and the frames there where a lot of dust webs. We found it overpriced compared to the location and comfort you get unfortunately.

Beautiful & comfortable property with super friendly owners in convenient location

Extremely friendly and helpful people. This is a very attractive property with a long history and very well maintained / renovated. Modern comfort with a beautiful history-laden atmosphere. Traveling through France North-South or vice versa, the location is convenient, because it allows for a quiet and relaxed stay close to the highways, but without the noise and horrible atmosphere of roadside motels/hotels.

Wonderful and helpfull owners

Very friendly and lovely owners. They do everything to make your stay comfortabel. B&b is really clean and we had the 2 bedroom appartement which was spacious with 2 small kids.

Value for money is very far out of line. Beds were very small and there were spiders and mosquitoes all over the room. Would be fine for €50-60 a night, but for €90 you can expect more

Lovely stay

Lovely hosts, comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice wine. It was an excellent stay with 2 young children. Normally I have trouble sleeping because of the terrible pillows, at presbytere I slept like a baby!

Bijzondere lokatie qua inrichting in oude pastorie, zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, alle details in orde. Eigenaar gaf rondleiding in naastliggende Grieks-Orthodoxe kapel.

De gastheer en gastvrouw waren echt heel vriendelijk!

Alles is een beetje oud, maar daardoor wel heel sfeervol. Er werd speciaal voor ons gekookt en we aten in een privé kamer. De gastheer speelde tijdens het eten op zijn vleugel.

Hartelijke ontvangst. Eigenaar/ familie staan te wachten en je wordt heel vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer is netjes en er mist niks. Als je het tijdig aangeeft kun je er ook nog eten (avondeten). Dat is heel handig want in het dorp is verder niks te krijgen. Betreft een heel oud pand die waar mogelijk volledig in stijl is ingericht. Gratis internet en de auto (met fietsen) kon nog op het terrein staan. Er kunnen 2 auto's staan. Avondeten en het ontbijt waren prima verzorgd. Prijs/kwaliteit is goed.

Prima verblijf met zeer hartelijk gastheer/gastvrouw

We zijn bijzonder hartelijk ontvangen door het echtpaar. De kamer was prima, alles wat we nodig hadden. We kregen nog een rondleiding van de gastheer in het grieks-orthodox kerkje dat naast het verblijf staat waar hij diensten geeft. We konden nog mee eten met het avondeten, heel fijn! De gastheer heeft piano en accordeon voor ons gespeeld tijdens het eten, heel bijzonder en mooi!

Het verblijf ligt in een afgelegen klein dorpje waar nagenoeg niets te beleven valt of iets te kopen is. Voor een doorreis van 1 nacht is het prima.
